Welcome to Hazel’s Hideaway! This cabin was hand built in the 50’s and has been updated throughout the years. It is a rustic cabin with some modern amenities to make it more comfortable for your stay. Enjoy the peaceful 4 acre natural setting with direct river access. There are walking trails down to the river to make it easy to find, and to have fun exploring.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be within walking distance of Mentone Town Hall. Enjoy your stay with amenities like a kitchenette and a TV in the cabin.

Nice weekend getaway
Nice clean cabin for our weekend in mentone. Nice quiet area close to town! Only 4 minute drive to mentone market and wildflower cafe. Our doggies liked the trails to the creek.

So beautiful, authentic cabin in an idyllic setting. Host responded quickly to questions and was very kind. Huge delicious cookies on the table upon arrival. Comfortable, affordable, will definitely return.

A few disappointments.
Had to drive back to town to get cell service in order to email the hostess about the WiFi , wrong password was sent with the reservation. One bath cloth and three bath towels at arrival. Informed her about the bath linens and she assured more would be delivered the next morning by cleaning staff. Hostess was very helpful. More bath towels were delivered while I was away the next morning but no bath clothes. No firewood as listed. Both igniters were empty. No hair dryer as listed. A little disappointing but still manageable. I could have brought some supplies from home. Especially a hair dryer.

Very rustic which we wanted, clean but with modern amenities. Room to enjoy the outside and fire. Nice wood surrounded area. Close to all the best kocal attractions and restaurants, easy to find. Was good for family vacation.

Peaceful and plenty of privacy..possibly the cleanest cabin I have stayed in..we were extremely pleased we could bring our dog, Kobi with us. A little disappointed about not being able to use fireplace..but very nice stay.

Perfect Rustic Getaway
We loved the cabin! The beds and linens were very comfortable. We got there late and left early in the morning, so we didn’t really get to enjoy it properly. We would have loved to stay another night. I would stay there again and I definitely recommend it!

This cabin was wonderful. It’s a beautiful cabin, the pictures listed don’t do it justice! We booked it for only a night, it was a last minute planned trip with our kiddos. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet, clean and cozy
What a cozy cabin! The beds were very comfortable which is one of the best aspects when renting a cabin. Loved the screened porch. Stayed for 1 night but wish it had been 2. Couldn’t connect to WiFi which honestly was a plus for my family who needed to disconnect. Had lots of items for cooking minus pans for the oven, but Had firewood and lots of outdoor spaces and a blanket for our dog to lay on furniture. Host messaged us and definitely went over the top to ensure our stay would be perfect! Would definitely stay here again!
