It is not a matter of “dislike” per se. This is an old, old facility that is being upgraded “ mañana”. For that reason, I could only give the facility two stars. However, there are other aspects to consider. STAFF:10 HVAC:10 DAILEY MAID SERVICE: 10 ONSITE SECURITY:10 BREAKFAST: 9 FACILITY CLEANLINESS: 8 ROOM CLEANLINESS: 8 PROXIMITY TO NUMEROUS RESTAURANT AND VENUES: 10 NEIGHBORHOOD WALKABILITY: 8 Merida, like much of Mexico has narrow, uneven sidewalks that are crumbling. Be careful where you step! I paid for LOCATION & WALKABILITY. Everything else was a bonus! I stayed for 21 days (mid May-Mid June the average daytime temp never dropped below 100F) and for the most part everything was good. Everyday, a staff member asked if I wanted room service if I was still in the room when they came through. Otherwise, they cleaned the room changed the sheets and towels. They have a good breakfast. If I opted to go across the street, I could eat breakfast a Chilakilz. I would stay there again. Muy bien!!

The toilet stopped flushing, no one came to fix. Only two plugs in the room, one wouldn’t hold a plug so I had to charge electronics in the bathroom. Drapes wouldn’t close, no privacy. No maid service.

El hotel es básico. Tiene buena ubicación, tiene piscina y un aire acondicionado que ayuda mucho en los días acalorados de Mérida. El personal muy agradable y la ubicación es lo mejor.

Dude ua cuando hice la reservacion al ver malos comentarios, pero la habitacion la encontre limpia y la cama estaba comodo fue una king zize y el clima funciona correctamente y la piscina se encontraba limpia, el baño es reducido pero por el costo no me lleve mala impresion

La habitación es una construcción muy vieja, el ventilador y el aire acondicionado hacen ruido y dificulta el descansa. En una ocasión sonó una alarma cerca del lugar durante aproximadamente 8hrs seguidas, en otra cargaron gas al parecer después de media noche y el ruido de percibía mucho.

Para pasar una noche y salir del apuro, no está mal, pero tampoco es un lugar que cobre poco como para que no siquiera hayan limpiado el baño del huésped anterior. Lo bueno: Está bien ubicado, a todas partes llegas caminando, incluso a las terminales. Tiene aire acondicionado que te ayuda a pasar la calurosa noche. Lo malo: la entrada está muy escondida, tardé mucho en encontrarla, literal fueron como dos horas :( Lo feo: La higiene! El baño apestaba a baño público, cuando abrí la regadera primero salió un chirrido de agua lodosa y luego ya normal. El piso percudido y ya mejor no revise la cama o no iba a poder dormir…

Me gustó que está en el centro de la ciudad, está limpio, agua caliente, aire acondicionado, por el precio super bien. No lujos, pero si la comodidad que se necesita para descansar, después de andar caminando por la hermosa ciudad de Mérida.
