I did not like that the bathroom only had 1 Towel and no wash cloths . No hook near shower to hang ur towel unless u left the bathroom door opened.

My booking was very easy when I got there. Everything went very smooth but when I got to my room I walked around it. Everything was OK until I went to the bathroom. The floors had hair on it it had cracked flooring and The tub needs to be updated and cleaning the bathroom more properly Will make it a lot better

Well where to begin. When we first entered the room I was pleasantly surprised at the layout. Then once you stop and look around it was really rough. First off the “king size” bed was closer to a queen, there were screws sticking out of wall vents that were dangerous. The outlet on the wall by the bed was cracked and no functioning. The shower. That was bad. The shower head only worked on massage and the floor of the tub was beyond slippery! I almost fell twice and told my wife not to take a shower in there. The room was very VERY loud being it was on the side of the building where the highway was. Overall price wise I got what I paid for. But I doubt I’ll go back.

Country inn and suites are typically nice and clean; not this one. Walked in to checkin and the smell was gross but we had already booked so we had to give it a chance. Checkin is at 3pm, we arrive after 4 and got our room and got to the 3rd floor to find our room had not been cleaned literally the bed was unmade, towel on bathroom floor and the previous guest key cards still in the room. Called front desk and a man came up and was grilling us asking if we had done this and obviously no as we had only walked in. Then they send a woman up to ask the same question, no apology just made us lug our stuff and all our kids back to the 2nd floor. They finally got us in a different room but it wasn’t much better but after traveling all day we stayed! The closet doors were nearly falling off, the microwave and refrigerator were worn and not very clean. The bathroom was very unclean specifically the floor and shower. The bedroom door didn’t even close all the way, there was obvious water spot damage on the ceiling in the bedroom as well. Our pull out couch had no bedding on it at all, no extra pillows in the room for the pullout couch. Just all around not a clean hotel! The pool liner in the deeper end is tore up and coming up and you can feel water underneath of it. There is a visible large crack and peeling paint in the pool room ceiling that doesn’t seem safe. What I’m saying is about $160 a night go ANYWHERE else!! Hope this helps!

This property was older and had a musty smell. Was really taken aback when asked to bring out our old used towels before they would give you new towels for your room. When in all honesty anyone who would want to steal their towels I would gladly give $5 for them to go get a set at walmart which would be better quality. I have stayed at this chain in other cities and haven't had a problem. But they will never see me at this particular one in Merrillville again..

The room did what it needed to do, it was clean. The staff was ok. The breakfast was free but very bland even for continental breakfast. Waffles, biscuits, cereal, doughnut ,yoghurt. Would have loved some eggs or meat
