It felt untidy and not clean. As if cleaning was done without depth. Rooms smell like hospital and lights are to white. The whole experience was unpleasant and the room decor felt extremely off and nothing matched.

Excellent service from the staff. The only drawback is that there is not enough parking and no one can remove the posts to park. You have to get out of your car to move them and enter. A bit uncomfortable. The rest is perfect! Location, cleanliness, friendliness, etc.

Very clean, comfortable beds, and spacious rooms. The mini fridge didn't seem to cool enough, but the restaurant gave us plenty of ice for our ice chest. Do be careful in the shower. The floor seems very slippery! I had my grandkids shower with their crocs on to avoid any falls. The hotel is in a great location. A restaurant, hair salon, coffee place, and Thrifty ice cream shop are a few of the businesses right across the hotel. I highly recommend this place.

High praise, and one big issue
This is a top-notch hotel that is within a complex, which has some amazing restaurants and other things to do that are very close by. I definitely give her praise to the hotel, and to the more modern section of the town, and which it sits. The one very distinct downside to this hotel and the immediate area surrounding is that phone reception was almost nonexistent. My phone and my fiancé‘s phone, which are on two separate phone plans with two separate carriers experienced the same problems. The problem was no service, then all of a sudden service and then in the middle of that service no service again. Marriott and the surrounding complex should attempt to have a cell phone repeater station placed on their substantially large property to mitigate this problem. It is definitely a big problem. I stayed at another hotel in a older part of the city about a month prior and phone service was amazing. So I know that Mexicali has very good cell phone service so there should be some way of resolving this issue. With that said, I am hesitant to stay at this location again only for that specific reason other than that it’s a beautiful hotel wonderful employees super clean everything and amazing restaurants just a few steps away.
