In the center of the city, small but comfortable rooms. No ac but fans available. Local food stands and convince store close by. Close to city historical center and other tourist spots. Loved it and would stay here again in the cooler months.

The staff were very approachable and friendly. They messaged me before my arrival to check in and address any questions I might have. They also helped me with securing a taxi to the airport. There was nothing unique about this hotel. I was not happy at all. The receptionist was never to be found. She only answered that one day when o arrived. Never met her. The service was so terrible. There’s more but I will not say I will not stay there anymore and I will not refer anyone to stay at this hotel.

First of all, I’d like to mention that the staff were very kind. The location of the hotel was also perfect for us. So, we checked in on June 21st with a reservation until the 28th, but after the first night there we had to change our plans. We were fine without a tv in the room, with a leaky ceiling, no a/c, and even with the ants crawling around the bathroom. What we could not endure were the mattresses and pillows that were provided. That first night we didn’t sleep more 30 minutes at a time and the mattress was so hard and noisy that we considered sleeping on the floor. The pillows were of no use and had stains on them. Our sleep is important to us when we travel as we enjoy having jam-packed days, but after that first night we were more exhausted due to the lack of rest. First thing the next morning we made other plans with a hotel one block away, Hotel Catedral, which we highly recommend! Unfortunately we lost out on the money from our reservation at this hotel and although the staff were great, all they could do was offer an air mattress. We checked out Sunday, June 23rd around 2pm.
