This is a beautiful hotel, but needs a renovation. Booked it for only one night and the room we got was in a tower without elevator or it was broken…who knows…so instead of refreshing myself, I had to leave the luggage and go on with my business. Came back later got my room, and I even found a roach on the sink…didn’t tell my wife otherwise I would’ve had to get another room…..anyways it was just one night

Grand old hotel, great service.
I had a terrible view. Everything else was great. Grand old hotel with semi- clunky rooms, but roomy. Great breakfast and the service was outstanding.

I always enjoy the “feel” of this hotel. So much history. In general, the staff were attentive and helpful. The exception was the bar service. Less than great. Otherwise, another lovely stay at Hotel Geneve.

My stay was great, the staffs were super nice and supportive. They upgraded my room when I told him to do so. The property is located in a very nice and lively neighbourhood and everything is easily accessible. Worth staying here.

An absolutely excellent 2 day experience. What helped make it so was the the staff! The concierge team and desk were very capable in English, but more importantly gracious and knowledgeable. All the amenities we needed were here or nearby. They helped us book a personal tour with patience and expert advice. Saludos to Daya and Adrian!!

I would definitely bring people here to wander the halls and check out all the displays and history, but i would probably not stay here again, would definitely never order an old fashioned at the bar again, or ask them to order me a taxi again. the water pressure was great at the lobby and museum-like displays dispersed throughout the entire hotel are fantastic, except all the descriptions are in spanish. the old fashioned was mostly bitters, which, as you can imagine, was disgusting.

The Geneve has been in business for well over 100 years and the foyer is beautiful and full of old world charm. Our room was spacious and, quite frankly could have benefitted from a makeover (new carpet). The staff is fantastic and very helpful. We booked a balloon ride with the nice gal at the consierge desk.The fellow that called us a cab to the airport was 74 years old and had worked at the Geneve for 55 years. We would stay here again.

Property is historical and very interesting but old and tired. Location is not bad and walkable to most areas that you would want to visit as a tourist. Close to Roma but more economical than staying right in Roma.

This hotel is a much beloved and historic hotel to the citizens of Mexico City. It is a turn of the 20th Century gem with cases filled with historic memorablia about the famous people who have stayed there. It is very unique and walking distance to a great many things.
