The lobby, bar and bistro are incredible. Staff lovely. Shame the rooms are a bit dated. Walkable to Roma - nice area for restaurants/cafes etc.

Surprisingly only ok service from hotel.
Loved the hotel, decor, and location. The service was very inconsistent from front desk & one waiter were very nice but the bartender and Maitre’d were not nice at all. This really surprised me as I expected to see smiling faces through out the entire hotel. At one point we waited in front of the restaurant for 10 mins with staffing walking by and no acknowledging us at all so we seated ourselves. Other than that we had an ok visit at the hotel.

The place is beautiful,but needs to be updated, it was cold and there was no heater, other than that it was great. Just FYI is on an gay area.

The hotel has character, but the rooms and showers need updating. The water in the sink and bathtub kept standing. Our biggest issue, however, was with the Expedia VIP treatment as long-term members. We had reservations for two rooms, and as Expedia VIP Gold members, we did not receive any room upgrades. Additionally, the drink discount for VIP members was not honored at checkout, despite it being communicated to us during check-in.

rooms could use some updates such as new carpet, curtains, bedsheets. also- i don’t recommend the front street facing rooms if you want to get good sleep. otherwise hotel has character due to its history with the lobby offering interesting displays. The bar was a plus as well.

Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff. GREAT, safe, location! Very lush and gorgeous lobby. The bed however was very hard and so springy. Also the pillows are mini- sized pillows. There were no wash cloths and the towels could use upgrading. The room was nice- but bedding, mattress and towels need replacing.
