If youā€™re considering staying here, u have to compromise. Pro: price, location, comfy bed Cons: parking is not included so end up pay for street parking which will be about 27$, pay the ticket, you will get fine, bathroom is a nightmare. Moldy wall, super light ventilation sound, moldy smell, moldy AC We are 4 people, we got 4 queen size beds which was awesome. When we entered the room, we instantly smelled moldy basement smell. AC was moldy, bathroom was a nightmare. But we were only sleeping there after long day so whatever. Location is fantastic? Just walk for 5mins and you are on the beach. You see all the comments talking about the terrible bathroom, smells and so on, so if you stay here, expect that.

The hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. Beautiful little courtyard with palm trees and tables. Nice room, neat and we had windows facing two streets ( corner room). And you open it! Cons. There is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage up a narrow steep staircase. In the toilet one lamp did not work, and the second shone no brighter than a firefly, so you had to be there in the dark. The sink spins on its own axis and the faucet is scary to touch because it looks like it's going to fall out of the wall. No fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. But all that was just unnoticeable compared to the main problem. Music. No, MUSIC! The room is right above the bar. We arrived at 11pm and it was already playing. I have nothing against music, sometimes even loud music. But the sounds from downstairs made the floor shake. And there wasn't even an internal phone to contact the reception to ask what was going on, and I didn't want to go there at night. I didn't think they could do anything about it. When I was able to fall asleep, it was already 3 am, and the music was still blasting. In general, if you are young and fun, you might like it.

Severe molding in bathroom from upper floor dripping, unclean towels with stains and hair, the place is falling apart lacking basic maintenance, our floors were coming apart, beds are super loud even turning at night is noisy, weā€™re right above their club which I didnā€™t know so our floor vibrated and the music was insanely loud until 2 am so there is zero buffer between you and that place. Location is convenient tho for just Miami Beach but south bridge has insane traffic and the staff was very kind/ helpful the place was just not it physically.

This property is very rundown with holes in the floors, walls, etc. The windows barely open. There's no elevator for upper floors. There's a common kitchen area with most necessary appliances, but no food or coffee are offered. The front desk staff could not communicate in English. The prices were much too high for what was offered. The only good point was the nearby restaurants, and store. I do not recommend this property šŸ˜’

The Harrison is a hostel. If that tempers your expectations, donā€™t. This place is genuinely great. Very low key. It has private rooms with private showers. Went for a business trip and the location of this place was perfect. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Convenient walk to South Beach for a Crossfit fitness festival. Place isnā€™t for everyone that require more amenities, but all we needed was a comfortable private room to sleep, shower, and work quietly. Couldnā€™t ask for a better stay.

I wish I spent another $50-100 & stayed elsewhere

I was given a room with 3 sets of bunk beds 2 queen, 4 twin squashed in the room. They said Expedia had overbooked the single rooms via google translate. It was take that room or refund and I had worked all day and just wanted to relax and have somewhere to sleepā€¦ my room was in the same level as the enter entrance where people could sit and hang out- so it was loud with conversation all day/night. unfortunately even having multiple beds to choose from they were incredibly soft as were the pillows and I had a lot of trouble being comfortable. There was loud music and construction equipment (saw?drill?) going all night and started back up at 6am. It was actually staff of the hotel cleaning the tiles or maybe removing weeds- no idea but it was probably the worst sleep Iā€™ve had ever in a hotel. I typically sleep like a baby. In the morning I was greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom and another in the closet. I love a bargain but this place is a mess and Iā€™m sorry that I wasted all my accumulated points on it. I wish I just shelled out another 50-100 and skipped that whole experience.

Hit or miss. Donā€™t take a chance.

I had a very bad experience. Checked in late after midnight. They have no more room but said i can stay in this broken door room. It was late and i wasnā€™t going to walk around and find another so I took it. I reserved a classic double queen and got a hostel looking one with 4 sets of bunkbeds! It was dingy and had no tv or anything nice. The door was broken and he said heā€™s security so he will be up all night guarding. I couldnā€™t sleep peacefully. It was the most uncomfortable and tiring night of my life. It was slightly better than sleeping on the sidewalk. Never have I felt so unsafe and helpless. Originally i booked because of the location. I didnā€™t get to enjoy the beach or anything. Checked out early and left.

This was the absolute worst stay I have ever had. The only thing that looks remotely similar to the advertised photos is the courtyard. The shower looked like it hadnā€™t been cleaned in months. The flooring was lumpy, had spots that were sunken in, spots where there were holes rotted. Holes and stains on the linens and lampshades. The walls were obviously dirty and had paint drip marks. There was tied up garbage bags outside the rooms. On top of that, the hallways and courtyards REEK of marijuana. I knew I was picking a ā€œcheapā€ stay, but I didnā€™t know I was picking a filthy one. On top of all of that, the obnoxious, BLARING music from Casa Matilda was insufferable. The music was so loud that our bed was shaking, windows rattling, and we could not sleep. Tried to call the ā€œ24/7ā€ desk several times and never got an answer. Finally went downstairs around 1AM to complain in person, and the security guard told us, ā€œItā€™s a club where millionaires go; they turn the music up loud and we ask them to turn it down but they turn it back up. Not much we can do; we canā€™t tell them how to run their business.ā€ Okay butā€¦ the restaurant is located in the hotel? The man who said that was nice about it, but he told us that they would likely shut the music off by 2 because they close at 2. Funny how that didnā€™t happen. By 2:30 AM my friend and I were so tired and upset about the noise that we finally made a noise complaint with the police. Noise still didnā€™t end until 3AM. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Iā€™m not the type to leave a bad review, but the photos of this hotel is very misleading. Parking behind is 130$ for an evening and a day to start off. You walk up to a patio area that at first seems very nice until you walk through the gate. Then proceed to be taken to a room where on the way to that room there is a leak that has humped up the hallway floor at least 6 inches right in the middle above that is a ceiling that is crumbling and covered in black mold. We then are placed in a room that is covered in black mold and has open electrical in the bathroom. Looks like cleaner was sprayed onto a wall and never wiped. My kids, my husband and I all got very sick from just standing in the room for 10 minutes while we tried to figure out other arrangements. My husband proceeded to tell the manager (which was the very kind and the only decent experience of the whole ordeal) that we cannot stay in that room, that we will either need another room or we will have to leave. That room key card reader doesnā€™t read so the manager had to ā€œmanuallyā€ break in with a piece of rope and a wire that is slid under the door to open it from the inside after which he had to beat on the door to ensure no one was in there. Ultimately, we left, our kids were throwing up from the exposure and we all still contain a cough. It was a bad experience and in the end the only decent part was how nice and understanding the manager was. I do NOT recommend.
