Only average across the board, except for one issue. I was waiting at the airport arrivals exit, expecting a Holiday Express shuttle. When none came, I called the property manager twice. No one answered and no one called back. Finally a Holiday International shuttle appeared and was gracious enough to give me a ride. Kudos to him; thumbs down to Holiday Express!

The room was clean and close to the airport. The staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out were efficient. The breakfast was better than many other hotels I've stayed in. I'll go back next time I have an overnight layover in Miami.

Stranded by shuttle
We arrived at 9:30 pm and called the hotel immediately for the shuttle . They said to call back after we had our luggage, which we did, at 9:50. By 10:15, four calls later, I finally reached someone who noted our location and said to remain there - a shuttle would be there within 15 minutes. Half an hour later, we watched the shuttle circumvent us and leave the airport. I called the hotel again to find that that was the last shuttle; we were told to get an Uber and they would reimburse us. We did, but they didn’t. Blinds didn’t work in room so we had the pool light shining in our room all night and early sun. Late planes overhead, no hot water, bathroom door didn’t close. Disappointed because we really like this brand hotel near us.

WARNING this hotel does not have a regular airport pickup. DO NOT CHOOSE IF YOU WANR AIPORT SHUTTLE. They tell you this in very fine print AFTER your booking is confirmed. I did not see that. Instead you must call them upon arrival - something that is impossible if you arrive from international and do not have a US SIM card or roaming. After 1 hour waiting finally found a guest with a US phone and shuttle came within 10 mins of call. However, hotel lacks major transparency in not saying upfront status of shuttle. All other hotels in area have regular shuttle. I will choose one of those next time. Also room windows of hotel are not in any way soundproof glass so plane sounds are very loud.

It was very easy to get to from the airport. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. The area was a little shady but, my family felt safe enough to walk three blocks to a really good Cuban restaurant.

Great location - great price!
Convenient to the airport. Provides shuttle service to and from the airport and port. Great breakfast. Everything is clean and updated. Parking during cruise for $20 a day.
