This property was fantastic ADULTS ONLY - so the pool and beach were very quiet. If you stay in the pool/cabana rooms request to stay in **03-**10. We were in 1701 and there was not much of a view… roof of the restaurant. Also they do set the tables prior to/ right at 7am and so you can hear that. They also clean the patio/pool area this early so you may not be able to sleep in. Overall fantastic though!

The pool, pool bar, and direct access to the ocean are unmatched. The art deco look across the whole facility is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful all around. The downside in recent times has been the constant construction as they renovate the Delano hotel immediately next door.

The property was nice but the hotel is going through some renovations which meant we needed to go under a scaffolding to access the stairs and the smell of paint was pretty intense. This didn’t stop us from enjoying the hotel but was a bit of a bummer. Definitely recommend the balcony rooms! The 1st floor looked the best since your deck is right at pool level. The staff was all super friendly and very helpful!

This resort is like being transported back in time. Very cool ultra 30’s vibe with a 90’s feel. Pool bar was awesome, great drinks and awesome bartender. Rooms were unique and very clean. Just be aware, this resort is OLD but as updated as possible with the exception of the elevator, only one of two were working. We were on the 10th floor and waited about 30 minutes before we decided to walk down 10 flights in a teeny tiny staircase with our luggage which was fortunately carryons. Unfortunately a friend of ours who was on the 3rd floor fell face first down the stairs. The front desk staff was aware and asked “you good?” Honestly I was disappointed by this. This is probably the only property that is not under construction for blocks. Most of Miami Beach is under construction

We stayed in one of the poolside cabanas for 5 nights. The room/bed was nice and comfortable. The hotel and grounds are well kept and there are plenty of places to sit and relax. A lot of shade which made my wife happy. When we arrived the heated pool had sediment swirling around and the heater wasn’t working. We were surprised it wasn’t better maintained, but it improved after we complained. Would be awesome if both pools were heated - we couldn’t go in the long pool it just wasn’t comfortable this time of year. Bar by the pool is great and staff at the pool are very accommodating. Overall we would return as we liked the adult only comfortable setting.

We loved staying at The National! The service was wonderful every where we went, front desk, restaurant, pool! The facilities are very well kept and clean. We had the best dinner at Mareva1939 as well! Loved & would stay again.
