Perfwct for LMU visit

This is my 2nd stay here in the last 3 months due to a college move. Location for LMU visit is great, short drive through the tunnel and you're there. My main concern with this hotel is the hit or miss housekeeping. While this time my room was clean, we had no housekeeping except one day where all we asked for was the trash to be removed. The next day we needed fresh towels but never received them, had to call for them. The ladies are lovely and polite but I am not sure about the way they schedule for room upkeep. Free hotel breakfast is standard, pastries, oatmeal, assorted breads and eggs. Juice and coffee as well as tea.

Great Stay at Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro

The Holiday Inn Express in Middlesboro was excellent. The room was very clean and the breakfast was amazing. My room was on the side facing the road, but I had no problem sleeping. When I checked out I asked if the rooms on the other side were quieter since I would consider returning if passing through the area again. Even though I assured them I slept well staff said a preference for a quiet room would be indicated in my file for IHG hotels.

I’m not one to usually write reviews, but I would recommend staying here. It was clean, the room was nice and spacious, the shower/bathroom was spotless! The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Just ok

Staff at check in and check out were courteous and efficient. Room was overall clean except the bathroom. There was hair in the shower that wasn't ours. Housekeeping was a bit noisy in the morning, you could hear their detailed conversation. Rooms are spacious, however if your room faces the front of the hotel, you will hear the noise from the road. Big trucks start driving through well before dawn. Location was good for us for the purpose of our visit
