We wanted a two night stay in La Cala de Mijas and we knew the location of the Carmen Hotel. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags and the gentleman on reception was very friendly and said we could check in at the same time and our room would be ready a little later which was fine. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast both mornings which were cooked on request and was very tasty. Would certainly recommend to family & friends.

It held everything we were looking for , good shower and bathroom facilities. Comfortable bed . Everything was clean,enjoyed breakfast at th cafe downstairs.Staff friendly and wecoming. Will come again.

The hotel is small & sits on the edge of La Cala, so everything is very accessible. The staff make this hotel too, they were so friendly. The hotel is very clean. I would say, itā€™s a very good place to stay as a base. We would definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely time.

The hotel was nice and clean, some parts need a good scrub to get rid of water marks around the showers but still clean. Very friendly staff always with a smile. I tried getting a better view but all taken still a nice view of the quaint street so all good. Good little fridge to keep our drinks cold. Very central to everything including the lovely beach. Only negative really is that there no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We would stay there again šŸ‘šŸ‘

It was central, comfy beds, clean, lovely staff Downside - very noisy due to being next to highway, only toast, juice and tea for breakfast, no other choice. If you wanted cooked breakfast had to pay more. Rooms very small and wi-fi almost non existent.

The staff are lovely and the property is very clean and central to all amenities. Breakfast is just toast and tea, rooms very small, extremely noisy and couldnt sleep due to heavy traffic noise from the highway, wi-fi very poor
