Property was great though people were in the hallways cleaning the entire time, which makes a bit of an obstacle course. We also arrived at 2PM and thought we’d rest from our long journey before dinner. Not happening—lots of hammering, drilling, sanding, etc. from building next door. Thought ok, well at least we’ll get to sleep in tomorrow. Nope. Same noises began at 7AM. 👎

Hotel Milano Castello is a fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of everything. It is walking distance to everything and has transportation close by. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Andy at the bar was sensational. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fantastic position and very friendly and helpful reception staff. Good breakfast. Lot of old world charm and elegance but polished marble floors make this hazardous underfoot. I slipped and fell in the bar where there was a very small amount of water on the floor. Room amenities are average - poor hairdryer, no face cloths, shampoo or conditioner (same product as hand wash!), poor sound proofing between rooms next door and on different storeys and lot of echo from corridors; noisy. Power interruption 3 times in one night- once when I was in the shower and whole room went totally dark. Not great.

Wonderful hotel in a central location. We walked everywhere: to Duomo, restaurants, shopping, museums. Feels like a boutique hotel. Our room was actually big compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy. The free breakfast was great and the free drinks every evening in the bar was a plus. Would definitely recommend.

This is my second time staying at this property and it is perfect. Metro super close, the staff are very friendly. I can walk all over the city with ease from this property. I don't have high demands as i come for business but this hotel is definitely on my favorite list.

It looks like this hotel was recently renovated as everything was fresh and new. The courtyard was a great spot to have drinks during the free happy hour (a pleasant surprise). The bartender was exceptional. The complementary breakfast was very good and staffed by two wonderful people. The people at the front desk were wonderful as well.

Excellent boutique hotel! Perfectly situated - close to everything, but in a quiet street. Clean, great breakfast, and the complimentary cocktail in the evenings was welcomed after a day of site seeing and shopping! And the hotel staff could have been more wonderful! They were attentive, helpful, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations! I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Milan.

Hotel is overpriced with no staff to help. Location is good but that is really all. Our room was big and spacious. The breakfast is ok; not too much variety- the server is nice there. There is no one to help with bags. Didn’t feel welcomed or thanked for staying. Paying 500$ a night for 3 star hotel should have some other benifits than location. Would pick somewhere else next time.
