We had a great time at Hotel Sempione! It was a very beautiful hotel and perfect room that includes all of the amenities that we needed. The area around the hotel was walkable to many of the great sights! At night sometimes felt a little bit uncomfortable, but that’s to be expected in a major city! The front desk staff were mostly helpful, but the parking instructions were a bit unclear.

As others have commented, air con set at 26 and unable to adjust. Open window of a night so not a deal breaker. Breakfast was basic but OK and staff fantastic and helpful

Overall it was a nice place to stay for a couple nights. No iron or steamer which was inconvenient, and no view out to the city. A little rundown around the hotel but nothing too sketchy

Simple, clean and inside is well decorated. They had luggage storage but i would recommend locking your valuables before leaving your bags. There was one receptionist that was a bit rude which was a bit disheartening when it was our first interaction since arriving in italy for the first time.

The worst hotel I have been to in Italy. I actually left and booked a different hotel in Milan because I simply couldn’t stay in a horrible bed, low and stiff like camping and such a tiny bathroom one could not open the shower door and fit it. This hotel should not be on Expedia

Good place to stay. Nice location
The hotel is close to one of the main train stations in Milan, which is nice. There is also a lot of restaurants nearby, and a drugstore like a Walgreens. The breakfast was nice. They have Eggs, pastries, salami, and a full coffee bar which had hot tea, which i drink. The bathroom and shower was different for us, as the shower doors swung in, and it was tiny, so this is not a place for a large person to stay. The towels were soft and much bigger than the average in America. The staff was friendly. The bed was hard, but comfortable somehow.

This was a lovely traditional old hotel with real Italian hospitality. In a quiet side street yet 15 minutes from the station and the Duomo. I loved the proper old style customer service and the breakfast was decent, especially as there was a large party in which meant it was busy.

We really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Walking distance to the Milano Centrale as well as good restaurants. The room was clean and felt upgraded/refurbished with plenty of space for the four of us

Stayed for one night before leaving for Malpanesa airport in Milan. I would not recommend staying too far away from the airport if you have an early morning flight (6 am) because the low cost transport options don't start until 3 or 4 am which would make it too close to get to the airport for the scheduled flight. The room was loud (facing the street) so it was hard to get sleep earlier in the night. Overall, facility was secure and the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Thank you!
