Kind of a funky vibe (not in a bad way..). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, ordering taxis, etc. Really easy walk to the Duomo, La Scala, and other major attractions Lighting in the lobby area and rooms was dim, making it difficult to read a map before setting out and air conditioning was non-existent I overall recommend it

Stayed by myself for 2 nights. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and nice. Facilities seem brand new and in great shape. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, but variaty was limited. Room shower is tiny, fit for skinny people. Altogether very good value for money.

Our room was very hot upon checking in. We set the a/c to the lowest temp. And left for a few hours. The room had not cooled down at all. Called the front desk who sent housekeeping to our room. They offered us a fan but said A/C was broke (maintenance had gone home for the day). The hotel was sold out so we couldn’t change rooms. Told them this is unacceptable as it was 90+ degrees outside. They said they would refund our money if we checked out. They DID NOT despite Expedia trying to contact them several times. Poor customer service! Because of this I would never stay at one of their properties again!

Though the common areas of the 'boutique hotel' were attractive, like the online photos portrayed them, the rooms were horrible. THe first room (lowest price, I believe), was small, extremely dark, with no view, and was hot from the minute we walked in, even with the air conditioner on. The front desk changed us to a better room at a significantly higher price. THe room was more spacious and had somewhat of a view (construction of buildings in the back courtyard area), but would not cool off. They gave us a fan to use. THe was NO hot water flowing out of the shower at around 5pm, and just a trickle when we tried to shower in the morning. Though we had booked for 2 nights, we booked another hotel for the second night. When we told the front desk, they said that since we had paid through Expedia, they couldn't return the fee for the second night, but they made the offer that if we called Expedia and had Expedia call them, they would agree to a refund of the second night. Upon returning from our vacation we did call Expedia and they reached out to the hotel but were told that they could not give me the refund.

The Max Brown Misouri is a wonderfully styled boutique hotel, moments from the metro and close to cafes, shops and pretty much everything you will need for a stay in Milan. I loved the retro-styling and the super-comfortable bed with the largest pillows I have ever seen. I certainly slept well. Cute details like a record player and records, along with practical additions such as a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, made this a truly enjoyable stay. The breakfast was great, which can be taken on an outside terrace, and staff were charming and welcoming. This is undoubtedly the best hotel I have stayed at in Milan - and there have been many - and I cannot wait to go back. I recommend the hotel for style, comfort, welcome and convenience

This was one of my favorite hotels at which I stayed in Italy. Hotel has a great vibe from the moment you walk in. Friendly, helpful staff. Room had the best layout & retro vibe. Very comfortable bed! Hotel conveniently located on quiet side street, a 6-min walk to other hotels, restaurants, and stores.

Great place and looks fabulous however the toilet didn’t work properly, no plugs beside the bed, just one plug for kettle, electronics. No iron in the room. The air conditioner didn’t work. We brought milk to put in the fridge for our travel coffee machine and that wasn’t working so had to throw that out. We asked for pump soap in the shower to be filled as it was empty but was never done. The y did upgrade up because it was our anniversary but it was very disappointing on the brand that looks fun and inviting. Lovely staff.

The two front desk girls that helped me get around and scheduled my taxi ride from hotel to airport were amazing! I apologize for not remembering both names but one girl is from Peru and the other from the Philippine. Thank you girls stay amazing! As for the hotel, loved it. The room feels a bit snugged but it was perfect since all I do is sleep and shower and back out sight seeing. The hotel is super cute and clean and I will definitely be staying at any of their other hotels. It’s the vibe for me! This particular hotel was walking distance from everywhere i wanted to visit and do shopping at. If you visit please tell the staff I said hello, everyone was sweet and kind.

The decor of the entire hotel was eclectic and fun. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The staff was friendly and helpful, everyone was young and energetic. Our sink was clogged and the shower head would not stay in the highest position, it kept slipping. We let them know at the front desk when we left in the morning and the man at the desk said it would be all fixed upon our return later in the day. We will give them a break and say it must have slipped his mind. Despite that we would stay there again.
