Enjoy long range mountain views from the upper deck in this cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin! Located only 1 mile off Hwy 9, this home is a serene retreat yet close to everything - a mile from Ingles grocery store; 3 miles from the Lake Lure beach and Washburn marina; only 15 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and within 30 miles of everything Asheville and Hendersonville have to offer! There's a wonderful front porch with a bistro table and chairs for morning coffee. Sit outside and enjoy a fire in the firepit. The second level features a loft bedroom with a queen bed, a day bed and a second full bath. There's a walkway over the main living area to the second level deck furnished with Adirondack chairs for afternoon relaxing or evening cocktails.

The cabin can accommodate up to 5 people:
- The master bedrooms has one queen bed,
- The sleeping loft has a queen bed with a twin daybed

All beds are outfitted with sheets and pillows. Extra blankets are available to make sure your stay is comfortable.

Getaway

My sister just recently lost her husband. Their anniversary, which they usually spent in the mountains, had just gone by, and she wanted to get away to make new memories. We found your beautiful mountain house, and loved every minute. The house is in a convenient location, near everything we were interested in doing. Thank you for making your cabin available. It definitely allowed us to create a great new tradition.

Love this cabin!

My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary trip to Lake Lure. The serenity cabin was everything we needed on our trip. We loved relaxing on the upper deck in the evening hearing the owls in the woods. We would definitely stay at the serenity cabin again!

Nice two night stay

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Beds were great. It was a short drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We had everything we needed for a nice three day getaway.

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well stocked and had everything we needed for our visit to the Blue Ridge Mountain area. The area around the cabin was very peaceful and quiet.

All just as described, although mountain view from the cabin itself was limited (fairly dense tree cover around cabin). One item of concern: trimming of trees adjacent to driveway needs to be done routinely. Black walnut limbs scratched our vehicle when going around to the rear of the cabin. This comment has been made before by another guest, so it is a repeat issue. Other than that, had a great visit and would happily book again.

Nice time in Lake Lure area

This house was in a perfect location for our stay. We needed to be closer to the Rutherfordton area but still wanted to be in the Lake Lure area. The kitchen was very well stocked with great cookware and utensils. It was a quiet location. Being a log home, it was a little dark inside (but that is the nature of an all-wood interior. Noticed 2 bulbs missing in ceiling fan which might have helped). My only complaint (and this may not bother anyone else) was the couch......it really needs to be replaced (very uncomfortable). All in all, a nice house to call home for the week!

Home Away From Home

I I love staying in this cabin. It’s so cozy and clean.. Has everything you need and is in a great location. This is my second stay and would love to come back again. I love that it is only a mile from Ingles (the local grocery store) and a few miles to downtown. The hosts are really prompt and pleasant. I wish it had a hot tub haha but overall a great experience!!

This Cabin is Great

I totally recommend this cabin; the location is great, very clean, it has everything that you need to spend and enjoy memories. The owner Dave and Marjory are the greatest, cool people, they treated us very nicely and made sure that we were safe during our stay. I would love to come back!!!!

Weekend Away

We enjoyed the state and the house was great.... the only concern I had was the coffee pot....I just assumed it would shut itself off (that is what I am used to at home and other rentals I have been to) and a couple of hours after we had coffee we noticed it was still on. That just scared me.
