Our scenic, spacious and comfy A-frame is located just 10 minutes from the Lassen National Park entrance, making it the closest accommodation option available. Surrounded by a peaceful and enchanting forest, this estate offers all the luxuries of civilization while still providing easy access to the natural beauty of the national park. At the Alpine Estate, you are only:

Lassen National Park is a special place often referred to as a mini Yosemite with its boundless trails and waterfalls. The park offers outdoor enthusiasts endless recreational opportunities 🎿 🚴 🛶 🥾 🛷 year-round. Winter is an amazing time in Lassen - it is truly a winter ❄️ wonderland with one of the highest average snowpacks in the state! Bring your skis, snowboards, sleds, snowshoes to take advantage of our world class winter conditions in the park. Or stay put, build a snow fort and have an epic snowball fight! You'll soon see why they call this area the hidden gem of California!

The Alpine Estate is a 2 acre property with two detached chalets for the exclusive use of our guests. Each chalet has its own kitchen, living and dining areas, making hosting a large group a snap!

The A-Frame

The larger a-frame chalet has a wonderfully inviting open floor plan, inviting conversation and togetherness. Entering the home, kick off your shoes in our mudroom and enter the main living area, lofted with exposed pine rafters and two story windows bathing the room in light. Gaze out into the stunning old-growth forest surrounding you and open the screen doors to let the sounds of nature in! Our open-concept living, dining and kitchen areas are setup for maximum relaxation. The dining table comfortably seats six, and we have additional dining areas in the other chalet as well as outdoors for a total seating capacity of 20. Chill in our living area that features a gas stove and TV with a wide assortment of movies and a Chromecast for streaming content. Sure, eating out at the finest restaurants can be fun. But sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal, right!? Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 for your family or friends. Walk down the first floor hallway from the main living area, where we have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and our laundry room.

Head up the stairs to a large open lofted area overlooking the huge windows looking upon the forest outside. This room features a piano for sing-alongs and a quaint office with a desk and chair with three walls of windows allowing you to gaze upon the land outside while you work! Down the hallway from the loft is our second bathroom with two sinks, a tub and shower, and the main bedroom. The main bedroom features a king-sized bed and private porch and screen door so you can have a quiet moment away from the hustle and bustle!

Alpine Chalet

The smaller, yet still spacious Alpine Chalet first floor features a lounge, kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen in the chalet is also fully stocked for all your kitchen needs - prepare a feast and use both kitchens, or use your favorite for preparing meals for your group. Unwind and socialize in our tastefully appointed downstairs lounge, equipped with a large comfy couch 🛋 and leather armchair. Sip hot cocoa by the stove, cook an amazing meal, spin a record on the turntable, or play a game in our dining room with seating for 10.

The second floor has plenty of room for a crowd, featuring a spacious living room with great views 🖼 for lounging and relaxing after a day of outdoor exploration. The living area extends out to include a large sleeping area with 2 queens, 3 twin beds and a king bed tucked into your own secluded alcove.

Is that a cloud ☁️ you're sleeping on? Nope, all of our 9 high-quality mattresses are equipped with Sunbeam heated mattress pads to keep you warm and cozy when the mercury dips outside. Bringing the family along? We’ve got you covered with a pack and play, kids movies and games.

Outside you'll be surrounded by nature on 2 acres with towering evergreens🌲 and lots of outdoor seating for you to take in the fresh air and serene wilderness. Directly outside the Alpine Chalet, we have a redwood coffee table with four chairs and yard games like bean bag toss, yard-zee and horseshoe. Surrounding the A-Frame is a wrap around deck with a picnic table and plenty of adjacent seating for enjoying the stunning views surrounding you. Our large circular drive has ample parking for up to 4 vehicles. No range anxiety here; we have a fast charging 40A EV charger available for guest use (extra charge applies). From your doorstep, listen to the hawks call overhead or the frogs croaking at sunset in spring.

Tired of slow unreliable internet? Good news - the Estate has reliable and blazing fast Starlink WiFi so you can download all the content your heart desires (or you know, actually get some work done). Just don’t be surprised if you see a spaceship or two flying overhead - we like to think of it as a perk of staying with us! 🛸

Wonderful Home in Mineral
Gorgeous, private home in the forest close to Lassen Natl Park. Kitchen well stocked. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. We really enjoyed our stay here. Celebrating my 69th birthday and there was lots of room for all. Eric is a great host! Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Family vacation to Lassen
Visiting with kids and in laws to visit Lassen for the first time. This was a great place to stay for all of us! Our family stayed together in the big room and the in-laws stayed in the adjacent house. The house also has a bathtub which was good for our two-year old. We were able to walk around the house to see and hear nature too.
