It was ok. I would not have complained at the time but got a text message so let them know about 2 problems. Shade was broken, had to roll up manually, they tried to repair but person had left for the day which was fine as it was the filtering shade. However the FITTED sheet was for a queen bed and we had a KING bed so the mattress was exposed. Soooo, the manager brought up two FLAT QUEEN SHEETS AND A DUVET cover and handed them to me. We just laid the flat sheet OVER the fitted to cover the top of the mattress and tucked it in. Didn’t expect I would have to change my own sheets but oh well. Times have changed. I told them to fix the shade AFTER we check out. We do have reservations set for Sunday thru Wednesday next week too so hoping things are better. 😢

Hotel was updated. Only slight (personal issue) was the bathroom exhaust fan was very weak and at times didn’t work. And we had the cool air on, and it seemed to be getting the floor wet underneath the air conditioner. Seems like it might be a potential for mold issues? Breakfast was good, lemonade and cookies out at the front desk during the day. Pool was small, only 4.5’ deep, and no hot tub. Laundry & fitness room available. Staff that we talked with were very kind!!

Creaky Elevator
Out stay was very good. The elevator which actually seemed to work well made a lot of creaking and groaning sounds. As one of the first thing we encountered, it made us wonder about the maintenance of the motel. Maybe a little tune up and grease would be warranted.
