We enjoyed the location, the pool, the building. The furniture was a little dirty and we had issues with the toilets and a little musky when we first arrived but My Vacation Haven took care of it immediately. They were quick to respond and very friendly. We have stayed in the building before and we really enjoy it.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Westwinds! The condo was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the bed linens were soft (no scratchy sheets). We are hoping to make this an annual family vacation spot!

Excellent Property!
This condo has an excellent location. The views of the gulf from the balcony and all three bedrooms was breathtaking. One of my favorite features of this condo was the large windows in all three bedrooms. No one was left out from having spectacular views of Sandestin and the Gulf of Mexico. Also, it actually felt as if we had two master bedrooms. This worked out perfectly for our family. The property was extremely clean. Everyone we came in contact with was incredibly polite and friendly. Every amenity was conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed traveling just a short distance to Baytowne Wharf. Our children had a blast doing various activities there. We truly hope to stay in this condo in the future.

Remarkable Property
We rented this property for a family vacation over Labor Day and it did not disappoint. The communication/check-in process was perfect, the host took all the guess work out of the process. They are also very organized and send you a 3rd party app that has all your information prior to your stay. The property itself was beautiful with nice finishes and amazing views of the beach. It was stocked with the basics but you may have to run to a store for a few random things (trash bags, dish washer pods, etc). Sandestin is such a great area. We had 2 kids and 2 teenagers and there was something for everyone! The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool were great when we were tired of the beach. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering it.

Excellent view and spacious condo. Very limited supplies—two dishwasher tabs, no broom and not that great vacuum, minimal and cheap kitchen dishes and tableware given the price of the condo.

Vacation Nightmare
By far, our WORST experience EVER! First and second days, water was shut off for a number of hours, preventing us from taking showers before going to dinner. When we returned from dinner on second night, was 2" water standing in part of the condo. Had to move to another unit for one night, then back to this one, then had to move again so they could bring in equipment to dry out the floors and walls. Third unit we were in was smaller and we could not adjust the thermostat because it required a key access code, which the property mgr.s could not give us. I contacted the management property numerous times during and after our stay, hoping for some compensation. I was told repeatedly that someone would be reaching out to me and no one EVER DID! In summary, we paid in advance for service that we did not receive and no one has offered to do anything about it. Very Poorly managed and a very disappointing experience!!! You DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH MY VACATION HAVEN--THEY DO NOT CARE! In addition, VRBO has offered NOTHING for the hassle we went through!

We loved the property, this is our second visit to Sandestin.
We had a great experience, had a few issues. One issue, the comforter was dirty as well as the sheets. I called the desk and it was replaced promptly. The second issue was the shower clogged with hair and wouldn't drain, maintenance was quick to respond.

July 4th Family Beach Vacation
The property was as advertised and had been newly remodeled. We loved the view from the balcony! The beach and the weather were fantastic and the fireworks display at Sandestin was excellent!! We would definitely rent this place again. Great condo and perfect for our family of 6!

Great property!
This property is just like the pictures show it to be. Very clean! Great view of the water/beach. Parking and unloading was easy. There are carts you can take up to your condo. Beds were comfortable. The pool is very nice too and the grounds are well kept and pretty. We wanted to play tennis, but the courts were on the other side of the highway a couple of miles away so that was a bummer. The beach was very pretty. We rented chairs/umbrellas from the company right there on the beach and were a little disappointed that other people could just come with their own chairs/umbrellas and sit right in front of you. Overall we had a great experience!

This is a good place for families with children. Although we enjoyed our stay we were an all adult group and it was isolated from anything to do in the evening unless you drove. Better suited for 35-45ish with kids.

Our 1st time on Destin
We decided to give Destin a try. It was the best decision we could have ever made. The Westwinds property was perfect for our family! It was centrally locates. It opened up to the beach. We had an awesome view. We enjoyed the Tiki bar and the pool. The staff was great! We are already planning our next vacay and Westwinds is in our plans! 5 star accommodation by far!!

Great view, plenty of room, kitchen was well equipped. Great value.
Property was very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable but bedding could have been better, but not bad by any means. Lint trap in clothes dryer needs to be fixed. Obviously, if that’s all there is to complain about, the property must be pretty spectacular.

Needs some sprucing up; linens & towels worn, blankets torn, kitchen poorly equipped. Rental info said beach umbrella & 2 chairs included, they were not. It's a 3 bdrm unit that sleeps 8 with only 4 chairs for the large balcony. Most importantly, the building fire alarms not functioning properly !!! There was a fire on the 21st floor one night; no alarms in the units, or halls, just in the stairway which was filled with smoke!!!!
