This updated 7th floor hotel type unit 702A with an unobstructed beach view is ideal for 2 people.
The unit features one king bed a table for two, 2 comfortable chairs, convenient house wares for two, under counter refrigerator a microwave, small 4 cup coffee maker, toaster. Large walk in shower. A private balcony with 2 patio chairs. All linens supplied(sheets, towels, wash and face towels) Free WIFI and cable TV, free parking.

The unit does NOT have a cooking stove or a separate living space, washer and dryer or maid service.

Surfside Resort is a 16 story condo building that are all individually owned condos.
Located close to everything in Miramar Beach, shopping, restaurants. We have on site restaurant, kayak and paddle board rentals, and a Beach bar. Amenities include, Basketball, Pickle Ball, Tennis and Shuffleboard all free equipment for your use. Beach Bonfire for all Surfside guests every Friday and Monday.

The place was perfect! It was in a great location and my husband and I were able to walk everywhere. The beach access was super easy to get too and the balcony view from our room was stunning! Would definitely book this room again. Billie was quick to message back with any questions I had as well.

Condo: beautiful view, clean, many amenities, and it’s 5 mins away from everything, including non-touristy areas. Communication: Billie is an excellent host. He communicates very clearly and is very polite. I had 0 issues checking in and out. He also checked on us to make sure we‘re not having issues with the AC. Parking/commute: parking is easily accessible with plenty of spaces. The area is very walkable and there’s plenty to do if you’re like me and hate driving. Overall, it’s possibly the best place I‘ve ever stayed at. 100% worth it.

We have stayed at Surfside this being our 5th time. First time we stayed in this particular condo. Owner was great and informative. Condo clean and comfortable. Weather didn’t cooperate but it was what it was! We still had a great time. Highly recommend Surfside for your Destin vacation!!!

Amazing location and serene home base for my location!
The stay here was practically perfect in every way. The only downside was that the shower water only came out scalding hot. I'm sure that they will be able to fix this though for future guests. The location couldn't have been better and I really appreciated the amenities provided in the unit. Thank you!

Amazing view!
Exactly as described. It’s a small unit but clean and newly renovated. The SurfSide condominium itself is older but this owner has done a great job of maintaining the unit. The view is absolutely AMAZING!! The 7th floor offers the perfect view of the ocean and the main strip. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each night. Do not over pack as there is limited storage. The beach service is included and is wonderful! We will definitely be back.

The condo building had amazing amenities. The roof top activity area included pickleball and tennis courts which were great. The pool and hot tub area was also nice. The building was located right across from the private beach, which was beautiful and the chair service was super appreciated. The condo itself was exactly as advertised, small but functional and the view was amazing. The bed was comfortable and everything worked well for us. The area was perfect as well. There were lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance and we felt very safe walking around even in the dark. The beach bar was also appreciated as it was open late for drinks!

The view was Fantastic!
We were in Miramar for a family wedding on the beach and the reception was at Surfside resort. When we were in the room, we spent most of our time on the balcony. The views were spectacular! From weddings to sea turtles to treasure hunters. The room was as expected, small like a hotel room but the balcony made up for it. Host responses were quick and helpful. The room had all the necessities. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant and were able to eat outside. There were many restaurants within walking distance. Miramar is our favorite beach!

THINK TWICE, THEN THINK AGAIN AND KEEP SCROLLING!!
FIRST, check-in process was a nightmare! We arrived on a Sunday evening (after 8pm), & owner instructions were to get parking pass, pool/beach entry codes from front desk. I called her and told her no one at front desk. She just said to look at the paperwork she sent me and that she would text me the room code and we could worry about other items the following (Monday) morning. Guess what, no one at front desk ALL DAY Monday. The on-site VACASA Real Estate Agent finally asked if he could assist my husband, and he was able to provide other codes/docs. Condo owner was of no help at all, so we did not bother reaching out to her. Everywhere else we've ever stayed all instructions/codes were in final communication 24-hours prior to arrival, and all documents needed (parking pass(es), property bands, etc.) were in the room) Anyway, things were downhill from there. On more than one occasion the lobby reeked of weed! Not a lingering smell, but like we just missed a pot party in the lobby. That should tell you everything you need to know about the primary property demographic. The unit itself is just what the owner says it is - an overpriced hotel room. The only redeeming quality is the balcony and view. Must be what you're paying for. Believe the photos, then take them down another notch. DO NOT BELIEVE "UPDATED" She must consider the newer ceramic tile from entry to end of hall/kitchenette/bathroom vanity area. The bathroom (toilet/shower area) also appreared to be newer. Absolutely every single piece of furniture, bedding, decorations, cabinetry and dishes are nothing more than garage sale or Goodwill hodge podge. The flooring in the sleeping area was original to the condo. The shower area still had the socket outlet in ceiling where the old light fixture used to be (pretty sure not to code). Also, while this is probably not an issue for most, it is for me and it bears mentioning. This is an adjoining room, and the owner of this condo does NOT own 702! I am a veteran with PTSD & adjoining rooms are a major trigger when I do not know who is in the other room. When staying at a hotel, I always make sure that I request NOT to be in an adjoining room, but never in all our years of renting a condo have I ever had this. TV did not work for several evenings and I hope your comfortable with the sink you brush your teeth in being same sink you wash dishes in. We did not use dishes. OVERALL COMPLETELY UNIMPRESSED - DO NOT RECCOMMEND!

Great stay in Mirimar!
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights at the end of July. Great location and the view is unmatched. We have stayed many times in PCB, but Miramar has a totally different chill vibe without the hooting and hollering. We're not old, but that's definitely not our scene. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We did some deep sea fishing and spent our days on the beach. We made breakfasts and lunches in the condo and went out for dinners. The sink in the condo is quite small, so washing dishes isn't easy. We have traveled many VRBOs so I bring Dawn, sponge, towels and basics for us, just in case. The ice machine in the lobby is coin operated. Having the chairs and umbrella was awesome! All we had to take to the beach was a smaller cooler and towels. Overall an amazing stay! We loved the condo and would love to come back. Be sure to read Billlie's instructions, she'll tell you all you need to know.

Condo review We loved staying in 702a. It was perfect for our couples’ getaway without the kids. The pictures were exactly as it is. We enjoyed being on the beach, and having chairs and an umbrella already set up each day. When we weren’t at the beach, we often sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view. I don’t think pictures can ever capture this. Whether walking across the street or the sky bridge, the beach access was convenient. Although, there were a lot of people there each day, you could see how much less crowded it was compared to the public access areas. We had to do a little hunting for the dish detergent and such, but found it on a shelf almost hidden without bending over more. We moved those items to under the sink as that is where the owner had said they should be. We had also contacted the owner about a housekeeping concern, and also the need for more wash cloths. He was very responsive, and planned to address this with the cleaning crew. There were some starter items as a bonus, such as a couple of coffee k-cups, some disposable plates and silverware (in addition to the washable items), and q-tips. We would definitely consider renting this unit again if we were traveling without our kids, or recommend it to other couples. Thank you for sharing this location with us.
