Peace and Quiet

Pros: No noise
Cons: A door designated as the reception
Location: Visiting brother so did not veture into Mirfield
An active monastery with great charm. Comfortable and quiet

The B&B was clean and comfortable

The Mirfield Monastery was clean and comfortable but very very basic. It is actually still a working Monastery which I was unaware of at time of booking. So I was awoken on by the bells on Sunday morning calling the monks to prayer. I felt a little like I was in a school dorm as it's all very uniform inside although clean and warm however for this reason I felt slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast was continental so we skipped and went somewhere else early on.
