This is a funky and cool property in the heart of Missoula. It’s a great central location in a very walkable city. The hotel is unique, with an open central core that allows in light and air. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed (complete with a Pendleton blanket). The only complaint was the noise from the street - vehicles and motorcycles revving engines at all time of night - but that’s to be expected in a city center. The public areas are comfortable, with board games and plenty of reading material. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. They provided excellent advice about local restaurants and sights. They bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I would recommend The Wren to colleagues, family, and friends.

Short stay
The room had an interesting 70's school room vibe. Good downtown location. Nice for a short stay. Bed was very comfortable, but a little low to the ground. It was a bit noisy due to trains running at night. There is a parking garage a couple blocks away that has free parking on the weekends.
