The room had a dirty smell to it, so I actually pulled the a/c filters and as soon as I did, dust/dirt balls started falling out like they hadn't been cleaned in 6 months or so. There was other objects on the floor from a previous stay, so I know it wasn't vacuumed. The toilet was very loose and rocked back and forth. I asked for another room, but was told there wasn't anything available for me, so I checked out and went to another hotel. I was told that I would be fully refunded for the room that I didn't stay in, but that hasn't happened yet and it's been six days. I've tried calling the manager Jim Pappas everyday, but he refuses to return my phone calls.

My room was not ready even though I arrived after 4:00PM. Many people were waiting for their rooms. I'm glad that I checked back with the front desk, because they neglected to call or text me. The hotel was very quiet at night and the room was well-appointed and clean. The breakfast was what you would expect, but it really didn't taste good at all.

When we got into the room it smelled of mildew and my sister has asthma the whole time were there. We both have bad back and arthritis the toliet was very low we had to fall to sit on them. In the description it sales toliets were higher than the one in our room. The beds were hard as a rock. We called down stairs all they had was a queen size handicapped room and my sister and i are big girls we could not sleep in a queen bed. We checked out moved in Comfort inn they were very accomadating let me check room before paying. I woukd like my money back for 2 nights i paid for.

Staff was great. Facilities were clean and well kept. We had our dog with us (hurricane evacuees) and had no problems with anyone. There are places to walk your dogs and bags are provided for clean-up. Facility is in desperate need of an upgrade. Carpets are awful. A/C units are loud and struggled to keep up. Other minor cosmetic issues as well.

I made a reservation for Friday night and Saturday night. Friday night went OK but once I came back Saturday afternoon to get into the hotel, they informed me that I did not have a Saturday night reservation even though I paid for both nights. I even had confirmation on my cell phone, but they did not have that confirmation in their computer. I was forced to come home
