Historic beauty
We had an amazing stay at this property. It was clean and easy access to restaurants and activities. The property is approximately an hour away from the gulf. We highly enjoyed hanging out on the large front porch. Communication was great. We would rent again.

Beautiful Historic Home
Loved our stay. Everything was well appointed, kitchen well stocked, location was great. Only drawback was the shower. It is cute, but not practical. The shower curtain sticks to you when it gets wet and it’s not easy to turn the water on/off.

House stay
This house is located in a not so nice part of town. It is not ADA adapted for people. The property owner was rude once we told him that.

Historic bungalow
The house is perfect for a couple or small family. Beautifully decorated with antiques and pieces that nod to the historic home & area. Granted, it is on a busy street, but never noticed any road noises! Blackout curtains were a nice touch. The clawfoor tub was a bit of an adventure for me - I'm only 5'2" - but we managed! The smaller appliances are perfect for the smaller kitchen size, si it didn' ferl small. I was delighted to find that there were enough pots & pans & serving dishes to allow me to cook dinner for my daughter & her family. They were also very impressed with the house. It was well supplied and perfect for our needs. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Very cozy and intimate
This home was so charming and intimate. My boyfriend and I just stayed here for a few days to duck away a little bit and it was exactly what I wanted. The old charm of the house was everything and I absolutely LOVED the bath tub. Would definitely stay again

A Really Nice Stay In The Middle Of Everything
We were in town to see family, and really liked this property. Mobile is a diverse city with a lot to offer, and this was centrally located and a great home base for our trip. The house was very clean, well decorated and interesting. The neighbors were delightful, and we enjoyed the porch swing every morning for coffee. Grocery store is located at the end of the block and was very clean and organized. Driveway was large enough to accommodate two full sized cars. Neighborhood was friendly with typical urban traffic noise. A couple notes - not being used to central air, we found the temperature a little tough to regulate, having a light blanket available for each bed would be handy. Kitchen appliances are 3/4 apartment units, great quality but might be a little small for a big family dinner, and lack of a fan over the range might make for an interesting meal. Adding a charcoal or gas grill out back would be an amazing addition, we didn't use the backyard much at all, but it would have been a nice option on a warm night.

Musty
Although the property is lovely and the house is clean some effort should be made to do something about the musty smell. It is quite overwhelming and we had to leave the back door open as much as possible. That being addressed would make this house much more appealing.

Nice Place to Stay
This an older home that has been well restored and decorated with a historic flair. The lay out is excellent but it is an older home. I enjoy the little quirks that come with an older home of this type but it isn't for everyone. I think the photos of the house represent it well. There are some items that are important to me that I think any traveler would want to know. The water pressure is excellent in the shower but this style of bath/shower utilizes shower curtains on all sides. This is an issue when you shower because the curtains suck in and you have almost no room around you. The bed in the back bedroom is very firm. I would assume it is the same in the front room but we didn't use that bed. The road noise is noticeable on the part of the house closest to the road but did not cause us any real issue. There was a lot to like about the house and we really enjoyed our stay in Mobile. The manager was excellent and the whole boking process and stay coordination was excellent and easy. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the bed type. Too many places use these firm beds and they just aren't comfortable.

Comfortable Character
This property has been nicely renovated and is full of character and charm just as pictured. Comfortable mattress, clean. Showering in the claw foot tub was a little snug feeling with the wrap around curtain getting a little clingy and we could not figure out how to close the drain to fill the tub, but those are only "complaints" which were not bothersome enough to reach out to anyone for. We would absolutely stay here again!
