The room is clean and spacious enough. Unfortunately, there are some stains on the beautiful fabric sofa. It may be caused by the guests pouring coffee.
Property owner was a very angry passive aggressive guy. He was mad that we checked in so late (around 2am) even though on the profile it says 24 hour front desk. Buddy, you're on the 5 freeway between the Bay Area and LA, you're going to have late night check ins. Also our room had a clogged toilet upon check in so I had to go down and get a plunger from him and once again he was agitated about being "woken up" He also got very confrontational and started yelling at check out because he thought we had 6 people in our room (we had 4 and someone who slept in our van to watch all our musical gear). We only slept there as we got in around 2am and left at 10am. He wanted us to pay him more all the while yelling how hes not an angry person. When we gave him an extra 20 bucks he scoffed and said that wasn't worth his time. What a miserable person. He was also complaining again about our late check in. I would have taken the extra 20 back but my friend is nicer than I am. I wished him to have a "day that he deserves" and we headed on back down the road.
Room was very dated. Clogged shower drain. In much need of update or renovation.

There was an issue with WiFi but the front desk person helped me solve it quickly and no issues with WiFi after that.
No coffee in the room and no paper cups for hot water.
The towels were so thin it was difficult to get dry.
Annoying bathroom fan always came on with the light.
Nice bench for luggage.
Our room was nice, bed and sheets were clean and new. bathoom was very clean. A large mini fridge and microwave were nice to have. Breakfast was just coffee and cereal. We were there in July when heat wave temps were around 110F during the day. We arrived at about 9pm, were given a room on the second floor, and discovered that it was hotter in the room than outside. The walls, furniture and fixtures were all hot to the touch. It took the air conditioner 3 hours to cool the room down to where we could sleep. It is a nice motel and the staff were very freindly, I would call them a couple of hours before you arrive and ask them to turn on the AC so that it is cool by the time you get there.
