E é por bem que vos convidamos a conhecer a terra e a partilhar com as suas gentes as paisagens e a harmonia do Minho rural, a gastronomia quer-se simples e sábia como as gentes. Os sabores do cozido, do arroz ao molho pardo, do cabrito assado, do presunto, dos enchidos, do bucho, que aqui é doce…e depois “vamos brindar com vinho verde “. Passeios e caminhadas pela aldeia, a praia fluvial no verão, ou aventuras mais arrojadas até ás Ermidas de Santo António de Val de Poldros e da Senhora da Guia, com uma paisagem e património únicos, garantem a quem nos visitar uma experiência que queremos única!
Riba de Mouro está localizada na vertente da Serra da Peneda. Terra com serra, de campos semeados de milho, centeio e cultivo de vinho, chamou-se, ao longo dos tempos, Mou, S. Pedro de Mou ou S. Pedro de Riba de Mouro. Admite-se que Riba de Mouro tenha sido fundada como freguesia entre os séculos IX e XII, pelos monges do Mosteiro de Paderne. O primeiro passo de um projeto é procurar o seu significado, encontrar a direção certa para o poder desenvolver.
