liked the bike rentals and the overall setting with the chairs and the view on the river. Multiple dining options - don't have to leave the premise, we cancelled our dinner plans at Napoleon and enjoyed BBQ with great staff. Didn't like the fact that the bathroom in our room (321) wasn't working. it wasn't flushing at all. We found out at 11:00pm when we were about to go to bed - we chose to use the public bathrooms in the basement - we didn't want anyone to come up our room late at night of our wedding anniversary. used also the public bathrooms in the morning. This was very frustrating. We stayed only one night so our time in the room was limited, would have been so much better to have a working toilet. Also, I found the ventilation noisy enough to be awaken at night. Another irritant was the lady's sauna in the indoor pool area wasn't working.

This is our family’s favourite getaway spot. My 4 and 6 year old boys are always thrilled when we tell them we're heading to the Fairmont Montebello. The place is beautiful, cozy, and offers a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors. We will be back soon!

Not worth the price and time
We had problems with AC in two different rooms, the first one didn't work properly and second room we move to had a problem with the AC as well which make it very noisy and had to change a valve. Zero acoustic insulation in between floors, you hear every step of the person above. Service at the restaurants: Nymark and Aux Chantignoles was sometimes rude or non existant. I understand all restaurants have staffing problems, so why keep two restaurant open in the evening?? food overpriced for nothing special. The people working at the Riverain during the day were much better at their work.

Grounds very nice adjacent to the river and nice walking on grounds and adjacent parks Canada site. Easy walk to town. Lots of activities available. Disappointed with dinner at Aux Chantignoles. Service was very good but premium location and price had only mediocre meals for both myself and partner. I expected better.

Finest resort in Canada. Would give US run for the money. Very traditional property with stately architecture. Every staff member understands customer service. Property so large and spacious. Never feel you are crowded. River front was great. Great room in lodge a real fun hangout. If your active it has something for you.

This majestic property is welcoming and comfortable if not a bit tired. The diningroom was understaffed and the food was mediocre which was disappointing as it is a resort hotel and the options to eat elsewhere are limited.
