recently stayed at Grand Palladium Jamaica, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. While the resort itself is beautiful, there were several issues during my stay that greatly impacted the overall experience.
Service:
The service was underwhelming at best. Despite being at an all-inclusive resort, we found that the staff was often unresponsive and seemed overwhelmed. On multiple occasions, we had to wait for extended periods for assistance at the reception and in the dining areas. It was disappointing, especially given the high price point of the stay.
Food & Dining:
The dining options were also disappointing. While there were a variety of restaurants to choose from, the food quality didn’t live up to expectations. The buffet felt repetitive, and the à la carte restaurants were hit-or-miss. One evening, we waited over an hour for our meal, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and underseasoned. For a resort of this caliber, the food quality and service in the restaurants should be much better.
Activities & Entertainment:
The resort did offer a variety of activities and entertainment, but some were poorly organized. The scheduling was often unclear, and we missed out on a couple of events due to lack of communication. The entertainment itself was decent, but it didn’t make up for the lack of attention to detail elsewhere.
Overall Experience:
While the location is beautiful, the service and facilities did not meet the standards expected of a resort.
