I would never send my dog here. No hot water on last day, asked to fix TV that wasn't fixed until day 3, horrible bathroom., had to begging for towels every day, no linen changes, had to search diligently for outlets, drag our bags down the staircase because there's no elevator.. So much is going on in this place though. It's needs immediate renovation and it should advertising picture of when the place was new and start advertising actual picture so that people can make more informed choices about their stay. The place is dilapidated and dated.

This was my 3rd time vacationing here, and will not be back, and do not recommend to anyone who wants to have a good vacation. The terrible reviews here gives a candid picture of what really goes on here. I had booked a room with a King size bed for 2 people, and the front desk personnel tried to tell me she didn't know i was married..... so i got a room with 2 double beds. I was told that i would receive a room change, but that never happened. The remote for the ac didn't work, and the tv worked some days. The food was limited and there was no variety. The menu didn't change and the food was reheated for lunch and dinner. The entertainment is almost non existent. The worst part was the level of customer service. only maybe 3 staff members seemed to genuinely care. The staff walks around like we are invading their space and privacy. they all seemed annoyed if anyone has a question or a request. I realize that tipping was the only thing that could get you a smile or common courtesy. The waiters in the dining room would let you know they are your servers and that's it. you wouldn't see them again until your leaving. they would give you looks, and that's about it for them. I was very disappointed with the experience, and i was ready to leave days before my trip ended. I found myself buying food outside of the hotel because the hotel's food was way below par.. The grill tried to make up for the main dining room, but the jerk chicken/baked chicken was undercooked. worst trip ever!

The beach club is fantastic. The room is probably 100 years old. One lightbulb in the ceiling in the room. One light, not near the shower and no vent fan in the bathroom. Room we had (garden/ocean view) overlooked a room that had trash on it. Very few Food choices. Several hours a day no food available at all. If you want nice coffee, this hotel it not for you.

It has a lot going for it this hotel ..the word charming comes to mind ..! But ..! there's a list of but's they need to address .! ! our room had an adjoining door to the next room which was of great concern and allowed us no escape from the noise .. the rooms are very noisy even through concrete walls .. they need repairs .. blocked shower drain ..wash basin plug that didn't work ..and as for the garden view ..we had their building site . No recompense or sorry.. or a free bottle of wine .. food is average but the staples like yam sweet potato.. etc nice. Liver ..kidney and chicken curry nice too .. but the occasional different dish we'd like was always a disappointment.. the staff are friendly but I tell you we didn't and couldn't get to see one manager ..the issues with this hotel lie with management level so take note and step up to the mark please .. but we won't be returning next time

Stayed for 2 weeks and our room was new, spacious and very clean. Housekeeping ladies make sure they did great job. Staffs are all friendly. Breakfast can definitely be improve to more western selections and probably more ceiling fans in the dining area as it’s so humid. Overall it was a great and enjoyable experienced for us.

Place is so dated.....40 years. Unbelievable they still charge rates they do. Service is deplorable. No wifi, beer in 6oz cup. Rooms look like haven't been updated since 1970. Never to return
