Great location - just a couple of blocks from Chinatown, Notre Dame Basilica and the restaurants of Old Town Montreal. Rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent value for the price!

Old building. Spacious room. Old furniture.
Location is OK. 15mins walk from Notre-Dame. The suite was very spacious. Like an old 2 bed apartment with kitchen and living room. But the condition of the furniture, carpet, curtains and everything was dilapidated. Living room sofa was caving in. Spiders were all over curtains and near door frames. Kitchen sink and bathub were backed up. We couldn't take shower. Microwave was tiny and it's plate did not rotate. AC settings were either too hot or too cold. Elevators were very old, slow and often breaking down or taking too long. This building is like an old apartment. And does not even give antique vibes. Not worth that much money.

Staff here are EXCELLENT. Very polite, quick, efficient and they take their time to ensure you get exceptional service. Room was great with full fridge and freezer, stove, cutlery, and dishwasher, too! Beds were super comfy. If you like Chinese food, you MUST go to VIP dining lounge. Not fancy but the best Chinese food around for decades!

Not sure why some people call this exceptional. It is great for the location and the price. Just don't expect a 4-star hotel. Our room could use an upgrade, but it worked because we were there to sleep only. Location is excellent to go to the Vieux-Port, Old Montreal and Chinatown.

The Hotel Saint-Laurent Montreal is a great option if you’re staying long term in Montreal. The rooms have an in suite kitchens and a living room, which gives the feeling of apartment living in the heart of the city. The hotel is located a block from Chinatown and Sainte Catherine, which means you have easy access to the main tourist areas of Ville Marie and Vieux Port, as well as access to shopping and dining both downtown and on the park’s east side. If you’re looking to stay longer term in the city, I’d recommend an apartment style hotel, and the Hotel Saint Laurent is a great option!

AWFUL
We had to check in late because no rooms were ready. Apparently their staff was short due to strikes. Loaded the push cart with our luggage and headed up to the 10th floor. When up there struggling with luggage two employees just pointed in the direction of our room. No offer to help. And moved on. Room was outdated and filthy. Stayed for 3 days and despite putting the tag on door for service our room was never made. We eventually had to put garbage outside door and the same guy as mentioned earlier told my wife we were allowed to do that and told her where the garbage disposal was. Again, despite not having a thing in his hands offered no help. The room was dirty and uncomfortable. The bathroom was gross. Base of vanity rotting out, shower moldy and cracked tiles… the kitchen was dingy and dirty though I guess having a fridge was cool. If you are looking to visit Montréal DO NOT stay here. I have to imagine just about every hotel in the city is better.
