A great choice of property, you only sleep in the room so it didn’t really matter how modern it was, as long as the bed was comfy, the location was excellent for everything, we walked everywhere and caught the hop on hop off bus which stopped a few blocks away, restaurants were a 5 minute walk with a great choice. The lady on the desk was super helpful, providing us with a map and restaurant recommendations and the best way to get around. If you want something that is a great price with lots of atmosphere without all of the bells and whistles this is the place. An easy walk from the bus station and central for everything. Oldie but goodie.
Clean but not fancy. Could hear neighbors bathing and flushing. Huge room, great location, very friendly staff. We would go back.

Delighted with our Stay
Loved our stay, this is a charming alternative to more modern era hotels. Building is interesting, check out the basement. Great location! Lovely little room with character, as promised, exactly as depicted in pic. Comfortable king bed and pillows, was able to turn the A/C fan on for white noise to sleep. Place was quiet the whole time (inside and outside building). Building is interesting and a nice mix of old and new; all conveniences are provided (Keurig machine in room; filtered water machine(free), microwave, vending machine, coffee machine ($1) all downstairs). Parking is just around the corner, not an issue once you understand where to go ($15). Staff were genuinely kind and helpful. I recommend and would definitely return!

Not a bad little spot
The hotel is very inconspicuous from the outside. Blink, and you'll miss it. Check in was quick and easy. Parking in the underground lot was easy to get to and cheap ($12.00) for over night. Granted, all the doors to get into the garage were locked on Saturday morning making it frustrating to get back to our car. The room was nice, and clean. Window AC unit and a heater in the room kept things comfortable. The shower/tub combo was very narrow and the tub was a bit spongy giving it a feeling of instability. Overall noise level wasnt bad. Good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Five Nights at St. Denis Hotel
The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot and strong. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were problems with the TV and heat (radiators) not working properly. The staff helped resolve those problems, but they returned. The location of the hotel is excellent. We would stay there again.
