The front desk staff and the breakfast team are very friendly and multilingual. There’s a loading/unloading zone in front of the hotel. The area is convenient if you’re either a walker or need public transit. At no time did I feel my family was unsafe. The three elevators at the property are slow and small. We used the stairs mostly, except checking in and out. Our room, a two-bed studio, was small for two adults and a teen over five nights. Given that breakfast was pretty mid’ (not the fault of the people making/serving), I would look elsewhere next time we visit Montreal, as there are places that offer better value. Parking tip, the RI and the Omni share a garage, yet the Omni charges CAD40 and the RI charges CAD29.50. There seems to be street parking, but during winter, I think it’s worth it to pay for indoor parking.

This Residence Inn clicked the exact boxes we wanted for a weekend getaway for our family of 4. We got a room with a separate bedroom. It wasn't large, but we didn't spend much time in it so it was perfect. The bed was one of the most comfy we've slept on, no squeaks. The property is not fancy in its decor and ambiance, as some others are in the area, but it is clean and functional. There is self-parking nearby that worked out just fine and was cheaper than if we had stayed at another hotel and valeted by a long shot. But the real highlight of the stay was the staff. Super polite, totally attentive, and they kept the breakfast buffet stocked, clean and running smoothly. The included breakfast saved our family a lot and made the trip just overall easier.
