The Mona Hotel was a nice, cozy, and vibrant hotel. The reason why we gave it (4) stars and not (5) is not really a big deal but when we lounged in the lounge area it was quite dirty at times. We would look at the front staff sitting there with no customers waiting to be checked in and we thought to ourselves that maybe they could attend the coffee & popcorn area and tidy up a bit. The other reason why we gave only (4) stars was the room we were in was on the “Millesime Club” side and we were woken up by the people leaving the club at 5am. Even those these are just minor, just thought we would point them out. Other than that our bed was super comfy, the free items in the fridge was a super plus, the breakfast was out of this world with so many items to choose from. We enjoyed the gym, sauna, and steam room. The Tube restaurant was an exciting experience cooking our own food. It was also convenient that the Christmas market was right outside of our hotel where we could pick up a few pastries at times and gifts. Also the free bike rental was a lot of fun cruising around the lake. And one last thing the train station is about a five minute walk, which was nice and convenient with all of our luggage that we had.

It is a beautiful hotel, located right in front of Geneva lake. The view from the panorama room is absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very accommodating, they allowed me early check in, gave us a complementary wine and cake. The X’MAS market is right adjacent to the hotel. I am regretting that i should have stayed for longer at this place. Simply loved everything about this property, location, food, staff attitude- it will remain in my memory for a long time !!

Very friendly check in, shared lots of local information, e.g. you can get a pass for discounts for sight seeing e.g Chillon castler half price and well worth the visit with local free bus or train travel. Location of hotel is excellent 5 min from station on the edge of Lake Geneva with beautiful views.

A Most Memorable Experience
We enjoyed the most remarkable experience from check in to check out. Front desk receptionists Romain and Cesar were incredibly helpful, selected us the perfect room and location. Their delightful personalities made our stay so much more fun, all the while maintaining their professionalism. The hotel and our room were kept immaculate by housekeeping and they were most accommodating to our requests. We cannot measure our gratitude to the MONA staff for a most memorable visit to Montreaux.

The hotel was very good and the surrounding area had amazing views but the area never really catered for English visitors which made it difficult to order food when eating out. Fantastic area spoiled by rude French visitors.

Excellent stay at Mona Hotel
We loved our stay at Hotel Mona. I highly recommend to book a room with Lakeview, amazing view of lake Geneva. Our room was spacious, it had an included mini bar at no extra charge, chocolates and wine. Breakfast buffet was very good and has plenty of options, including omelette station. There's always coffee, tea, water and juice at the lobby free of charge and in the evening they bring out a Pop corn machine and candy. It also has a Jacuzzi, outdoor seating by the lake. There's laundry facilities free of charge, just ask at the reception for the key, the laundry room also has the ice maker machine and a microwave. The hotel's location couldn't be better, 5 minutes from the train station, 1 minute to the tram stop, the Freddy Mercury statue is less than 10 minutes walk by the lake, and shopping and restaurants close by. Customer service was excellent; we hope to come back to Mona Hotel.

Great location and make sure to get a room facing the Lake because the view of the sunset is BREATH TAKING! The staff are very nice and pointed us to some great restaurants.
