New owners have freshened everything - very charming and responsive - area a bit noisy on main street, but the trade-off is being close to dining. The fried chicken burger at Smokin' Barrel is amazing!

Very convenient to Kaiteriteri and Abel Tasmin ( 15 min drive). Much closer than Nelson and nice small town. Great restaurants nearby and the owner was very kind. Great value!

Wet Weekend in Motueka
Unfortunately the Waiting weekend getaway was ruined by very wet weather. Nautilus Lodge was a good vacation stay however and offered everything my wife and adult daughter and I needed during our stay. It is a short walk the restaurants on the main street of Motueka, has lots of parking spaces both on site and along the street. Room was adequately quiet but you could still hear large trucks passing on the main road at night. The owners were friendly and provided an excellent cleaning service. Would definitely stay here again.
