A quiet respite away from a busy college family weekend
First and foremost, Angie and Dave are, by far, the best hosts we have ever experienced on VRBO over the last 10 years of renting houses. We had several hiccups in our trip due to events out of our control and a college family weekend. They were the most accommodating and thoughtful individuals giving us freedom to adjust our plans and even returned a water bottle we left at the house. Secondly, their cabin is absolutely beautiful with great attention to detail. Everything we needed was readily available and they even supplied lots of necessities like toiletries and very important snacks! :-) They even left little gifts which was amazing! We genuinely appreciated the beauty of this 1800s cabin with modern day amenities. WIthout a doubt, we will consider staying here again when we are in the Lewisburg, PA area.

This was such a unique stay. The hosts were so kind and had little treats all throughout the house for the guests. We loved the experience! So glad we found this cute, historical cabin.

A Historical Oasis
I cannot say enough about this beautiful little gem of a cabin! Angie and Dave are incredible hosts—communicative, organized, and very attentive (while also giving you as much privacy and space as you need for your getaway). They put together a wonderfully detailed welcome packet to guide you in your stay, and the cabin is sparkling clean and lovingly appointed with everything you could possibly need. The moment you enter, the vibe is complete and utter relaxation. I spent more time in the clawfoot tub than I'd care to admit, and also enjoyed learning the fascinating history behind the property and surrounding area. I deeply appreciate Angie and Dave for being such caring stewards of this important place, and it was so magical to be a part of its history, even for just 24 hours. If you're thinking of booking this tucked-away little retreat, don't hesitate. I'll most definitely be back!

Great getaway
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was just as described and what we were looking for — a great place to escape and spend a weekend. For us, it felt remote, but not far from anything we needed. We went to the movies only (20 mins away), and came back to quiet, peaceful night (and a driveway with 4 rabbits hanging around). The hosts were great and very responsive.

Relaxing disconnect
Angela is by far one of the best hosts I’ve ever com across ! Not only was the property super clean, she took it upon herself to stock up the bathroom with kind travel size items. The cabin is super cozy and the views are just mesmerizing. Couldn’t have picked a better location. I must add, Angela is super accommodating ! We look forward to future stays in this cabin.

This is such a special place!
Can’t possibly say enough good things about Angie and Dave! Truly wonderful hosts. My partner and I went with some friends and we were all completely enamored with the history, craftsmanship and backstory of this cabin. So rustic and super cool, but also very cozy and a ton of very thoughtful amenities. You get to feel like you’re waaaay out in nature, having that true log cabin experience, but it’s a surprisingly short drive to a grocery store/Target/etc (about 10 mins), so you don’t have to worry about packing up your whole life. Can’t wait to go back in the future!
