We stayed at the hotel September 2024 for Oktoberfest. I read review about rooms being a bit hot, but honestly they weren’t that hot. We cracked a window and it was fine. Everyone and I mean everyone at this property were fantastic. Especially the bartender at the restaurant (he also checked us in) he was the absolute best and made our stay even better! Merci to him!

It was quite pricey but overall a good place to stay in Munich. Wished the record player had worked, asked for help but were told to wait until morning, sort of defeats the purpose of a boutique hotel themed around music to not be able to use this feature.

Hotel bar disturbed our sleep
I had a room that was directly above the bar. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have loud music playing. The receptionist said a law in Germany requires all bars to turn down the music at 10:00 but it didn’t matter. We could hear people and music very late. It disturbed me, my parents next door, and also my sister on a different floor. Also, the showers in all three rooms leaked a lot of water all over the floor. There was a puddle of standing water at least a foot long outside the shower. This wouldn't be much of a problem in a regular bathroom but the shower is right next to the bed and it got my suitcase wet.

We came for the week and booked a comfort suite. We found the service to be very good. The breakfast staff was amazing and very friendly. There’s an extensive continental breakfast with a variety of speciality coffees that they make on demand. They’ll also provide cooked eggs and juice if requested. The breakfast area is also comfortable. Our room was spacious but we learned after we booked that although the website still says free mini-bar they had discounted this service. Biggest concern was that there was no AC even though the website stated it which caused us to be very warm on some nights. When asked, the clerk said the compressor wasn’t working. There was no AC all week. So while the service was solid, we would not return due to the items listed above.

Great location and good breakfast
Nice place, good breakfast. Beds are a bit hard for American standards, but that is normal in Germany. Pillows are too soft as well. If you like sleeping on hard beds, then this is probably comfortable for you. Overall had a great time here, good location.

JAMS Music Hotel was recommended by friends who live in the area. We enjoyed the hotel's cool vibe and decor. The hotel has cool Rock royalty decor throughout the hotel. I wish they put more Rock decor in the rooms. The shower was great pressure, however you have to add a lot of towels on the floor to contain the water that comes from the shower - but we managed. The bar area seemed to be happening and very popular. The breakfast was plentiful and great with fresh bread, meat/cheese options, baked goods, eggs and Capuccinos. The staff was very friendly. the area is very convenient to walk to the metro tram and walk to many restaurants in the area.
