A 50" HD smart television along with local network program (ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, and FOX through Digital antenna), and Netflix are available for your TV programming. One queen size bed and one queen size futon couch/bed provide sleeping for four.
Relax and reconnect with nature as you experience peace and the sounds of nature by walking the trails on 24 acres of beautiful prairie restoration. Perhaps just sit and listen to the birds and frogs without the sounds or lights of the city. This 30' x 16' apartment is a stand-alone unit attached to our garage and adjacent to our home. Great for weekend getaways to escape the hustle of the city and for travelers who are just passing through.
All Springfield, Illinois Abraham Lincoln sites are within an hours drive as well as the state fair grounds in Springfield. Approximately 2 hours north of St. Louis and 3 - 4 hours south of the Chicago metro area near historic Jacksonville, Illinois.

This is a very nice efficiency/studio apartment available for short stays for those who want to get away from city life for during the week or for a weekend, those who are just traveling through but don't want to stay in a hotel. There is lots of space for kids to explore or adults to relax with a country walk through native prairie or you can sit by the pond and enjoy the tranquility of the country without the sounds of the city. Listen to the birds, frogs, crickets, and view the evening stars without city lights. Perhaps you will see a herd of deer or two that are very common to this area. A fishing pond is available if you bring the fishing equipment with blue gill and bass fishing. You're welcome to catch and release or catch, clean and serve for your dinner.
