The hotel is right on the beach, on the Boardwalk, just a very short walk from many of the Myrtle Beach attractions. Sky Wheel, Plyler Park, Gay Dolphin, old Pavilion area, and more are just down the street. Walk on the beach, the Boardwalk, or the sidewalk...all close by. Downtown area and other places along the highway are either a longer walk or short drive away. Check in and check out was easy and quick. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are nice, well kept despite the busy crowds. The rooms were clean, hallways clean, and despite beach weather and crowds the area was well kept. The area? Typical Myrtle Beach. Not much in the way of local restaurants to walk to, although plenty of chain type places a short drive away along the highway. Groceries? The same. It's Myrtle Beach, it is what it is. The hotel has perfect beach access, one of the best on the Grand Strand. I've been to Myrtle Beach many times, have stayed at this hotel before, and would do so again.

Location was perfect, our room had an amazing view. The property and beach area were clean, felt safe the whole time. Do not use the consonier matt in the lobby,his recommendation was clearly a friends restaurant, it was so overpriced ,dirty,old. Refer to the sheet you get at check in. We would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. I did have a problem with the a/c in my room. My room was cold and I was unable to turn the air down. I called for maintenance. When the tech arrived, I was told there was nothing wrong with the unit. The air handle is shared between units so we will continue to hear the air handle throughout the day but my room temperature will be controlled through my thermostat. This was not true. The room remained too cold throughout the week. Finally, I turned off the breaker to the hand handler to make my room more comfortable. On my last night approximately 10:00 pm, another tech knocks on my door to investigate a complaint from the adjacent room not receiving air. I was informed that the units share an air handle and cold air will continue to enter my unit through the vents unless I shut down the air handler. The tech told me that management is not telling residents the truth regarding the system.

I would have given this property a 5 star because the room was so nice in front of the ocean but the elevator situation is terrible. You have to wait sometimes 20 to 30 minutes.

We have stayed there for the past 3 years. We have a young lady in power chair and her aunt who has a 4 wheel power scooter. Our accomodations were perfect. View eas also great. We rented a Beach wheelchair for beach. It stayed locked too pool fence when not in use. My daughter got sick and we were refunded our money for that last night
