Oceanfront Studio - Right on the Boardwalk

Right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Yachtsman Resort is an oceanfront treat that won't break the budget! You'll be in the heart of everything--restaurants, amusement parks, and bars are all at your doorstep.

The space: This is an efficiency suite / studio apartment with 1 queen bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. There is one full bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a full kitchen and dining area. Please note, there is NO BALCONY, though the photos give the illusion of a balcony. Parking and Wi-Fi are included.

Guest Areas: Enjoy the beautiful patio with heated outdoor pools, hot tubs, a children's pool, shuffleboard, and a picnic area with BBQ grills. If it's raining, take advantage of the indoor pool. The activities desk offers access to discounted tee times and tickets to area shows and attractions.

Other things to note:
Please note: the Yachtsman requires a $200 Refundable Security Deposit upon check-in. The security deposit is refundable after an inspection of the room is completed, after check-out.

Clean and good location
It was a surprise overnight trip for my wife and son. The condo was clean, in a great location, and the people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful, but the condo is still very dated, definitely needs some work, and the A/C was not working. It was 76*F when we arrived Friday night and was 76 when we left. The temperature was set on 70.

first, the condo was old and not what was expected. The manager at the desk was extremely rude and tried to double charge me. The TV was broken and also on when we walked in. all the outlets didn't work, minus one. Didn't have a deadbolt inside so we had to put a chair for safety. The shower ceiling looked like it was rusted or moldy. would not stay again.

Great view
Location was amazing views of the ocean and beach. Location was great close to everything some noise associated with the boardwalk and street but tolerable. Check in was difficult due to number of people checking in at same time but was a very busy Labor Day weekend.

It was good
was a little outdated, but worked for what we needed. Lots of screaming late at night (right across from an amusement park). Love the location and the beach was not super crowded here. However, our deadbolt did not work in the room so that was concerning. We made do though.

My room was clean and my A/C worked so I was happy. I stayed on the second floor which was fine but a higher floor would have had better views of the beach. The location is a plus with everything you want to do in walking distance.

JUST VERY DATED..THE FRIDGE HAS RUST IN IT AND THE PLACE WAS DIRTY..THE ONLY THING WE LIKED IT WAS OCAN FRONT..WE WILL NOT EVER REBOOK AT THE YACHTSMAN..THIS WAS NEVER DISCLOSED IN THE ADD OR WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BOOK THERE..IT USED TOO BE ONE OF THE BEST BUT THAT WAS 30 YEARS AGO..NEVER AGAIN

Cost too much for how rough stay was
Heat does not work some nights were real chilly it was colder inside then out and bed have only sheets on them we left a bit early instead of staying til checkout ,was like the air wouldn’t turn off, neither did some lights, have no mini soaps in room , was a lot more broke down then pictures the bathroom door handle even looked like someone smashed it in to the door, one pool and hot tub closed while we were there , they ran out of towels when asked and your left a note to basically clean your own room or your charged 200 , has no balcony like it looks and it’s pretty dirty but probably because cleaning is left to the guests . Front desk staff seemed bit miserable too .not one to leave crap reviews but we were all disappointed,Would not stay here again we booked Patricia grand for about same price for first few days wayyyy better for the same
