The hotel itself is well taken care of (common areas). The unit you will be sleeping in is definitely less then desirable. The unit pictures listed are the furthest from accurate. Our unit had carpeting (dirty, nasty, stained carpeting), our shower curtain was full of mold, the sinks and bathtub were cracked and peeling, the kitchen was not updated as shown and the refrigerator was old, loud and full of rust. Since they have a Covid policy they do not provide housekeeping (which would have been fine) had they provided basic necessities to allow you to clean your unit. We stayed for 5 nights 6 days with 6 ppl. It definitely needed to be cleaned. We also had an incident with another guest where my daughter was bitten in the rear end. I spoke with the front desk who sent out security. They reviewed the tapes and did see the incident occur. So, they sent a man whom I would consider a racist to handle the situation (my daughter is white and the other child was black). I went back to the front desk to complain and the front desk manager said that the guy who came up to the room was the property manager!!! I was given a number for the management company directly to file a complaint as the entire conversation with the property manager was in front of a camera.. and they refuse to speak with me because I am not an owner. Still.. none of my complaints regarding the unit condition, the biting incident, or the racist manager has been addressed. Biggest waste of my money. I was stuck in Myrtle Beach for a softball tournament and wasn’t able to leave the property early because I booked through VRBO. Do NOT do it!
