Great location and good base to see Napier centre. Loved the decor and the art deco touches. Rooms were on the small side but the access to the roof terrace was a nice touch. Food was delicious and the bar comfy. Would definitely stay again
Found the Masonic to be a very convenient & classical building. Staff were friendly & helpful. Only suggestions are minor ie the shower head was high & water pressure low. The room only had one armchair.
We had a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable and there was good wifi for us to remote work. We didn’t have a problem finding available public carparks close by. The hotel is right in the middle of the city. Cafes, shops and reataurants are within a walkable distance. We would definitely stay there again.
Cute hotel and a central location. Nice size rooms with comfortable bed and adequate room amenities. Good options within the hotel for food and drinks. Staff are polite and attentive. Housekeeping was the only let down; didnt clear rubbish, bed making was average and no real effort made to nicely present a refreshed room but this didnt take away from the overall enjoyment of our stay.
Although an older hotel, it is well maintained by the staff. The rooms were super clean and equipped for any needs you may have. The staff members were extremely polite and very helpful. We would come me back again!
Beautiful hotel with great history! Loved our beautiful room. Bryan was a very helpful and patient staff member who guided me around the hotel and explained stuff and answered all my questions. Would certainly recommend and come back again!
