Ground floor Ocean Front One Bedroom Condo. This unit is next to the pool and has a beautiful sunbathing spot in front of the lanai. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a pull-out sofa bed, allowing this unit to sleep up to four people. The furnishings in this unit are a mixture of rattan with tropical accents throughout. The lanai is open and allows you to walk out to the grassy area in front to enjoy sunbathing or watching the ocean.
Cooling features: Ceiling fans only (No Air Conditioning) This condo is located at the Kahana Reef in the town of Kahana, just a couple miles north of Ka'anapali. Kahana has shops and restaurants and is also a short drive to the nearby towns of Kapalua (to the North) and Ka'anapali and Lahaina (to the South.)
The terrain will change with the seasons, but at times throughout the year you will be able to swim at the beach next to the property. There are also many beaches just a short drive away. You will want to visit Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay, both just a short drive to the North.
Shopping and dining options. The closest supermarket is in Napili, the Napili Market, located just off the highway in the town of Napili. You will also find Times Supermarket at the beginning of Lower Honoapi’ilani Hwy on your way to the Kahana Reef. From Lahaina to Kapalua, you will find shopping and dining options from casual to luxury. There is something for everyone.

The unit is very old, not up to date, has black mold growing in the kitchen vent, a very rusty refrigerator and very old, uncomfortable outdoor furniture. There were not adequate supplies when I inquired as I was told to go get my own; toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful, others were absolutely not. When you pay a great deal of money to stay in this condo, it might be nice to be a bit more service oriented. BTW - we own 4 rental units - have for 40 years. We are very cognizant of what is and is not good management.

Dated condo unit in a great location
This condo is in a great location oceanfront in an older complex. This particular unit is quite dated with peeling wallpaper..rusting appliances; dated kitchen that is prone to ant invasions. Furniture is fading but do-able. The unit was clean upon arrival... but found dirty dishes in the cupboards with caked on food. A random flip flop left in the kitchen pantry.... the bathroom is nicely updated and clean. Location is walkable to various shops; eating establishments and beaches. We've stayed in many Northwestern Maui condos in the past and this one didn't measure up.

Amazing Views / Ocean front
This was a last minute booking - the views were breath taking! Cal king bed, pull out couch, nice bathroom, pool was great /over looked the ocean. Did not have beach chairs (both broken) or any beach towels, sink didnt drain, rusty frig. Patio needs new chairs. Overall happy with stay but this condo is older

Great location. Almost unlivable
We rented this condo for 7 days from March- April. I’ll start with the good. The property managers are amazing. They were super helpful, quick to reply, and truly went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good. The condo is down right worn down. I travel to Hawaii a few times a year, so I’m used to a little worn down. This was borderline illegal to rent out. Wall paper that was obviously put on 40+ years ago is peeling off, the furniture and appliances are old/barely working, things like the window slats were actually falling off for no reason, cockroaches/lizards were everywhere inside ( I understand it’s Hawaii, but there were holes in the walls that weren’t repaired letting them in freely), and the beds were some of the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept in. They must’ve remodeled the bathroom somewhat recently, but even that had issues. Prepare for the floor to be flooded because the shower wall wasn’t extended far enough. I would 100% stay at a place managed by this company again because they were truly amazing, but I would never stay in this condo again, nor would I let anyone I know.

Old school Maui Condo with great views
If you are looking for an authentic old-school 1970s style Maui condo, this is the place. Loved the view, pool, and floor plan. You can’t get much closer to the ocean than this. Sea turtles out your lanai. Condo was clean and everything worked well. Check-in process was a bit of a pain with all the COVID documentation needing to be submitted. Management very nice and welcoming. Easy entry with code so you don’t have to worry about keys.

Check in was so easy with the code. We walked in and first thing you see is the ocean through the back door. I couldn't believe how close we were!! My son loved being able to sleep on the couch bed and hear the waves all night. The master bed was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom looked newly updated and had everything you need. The towels were even fluffy. Kitchen had everything we needed to have meals in the condo. I could see some age on the cabinets and fridge but it didn't bother us. We were out and about enjoying the island anyway. We loved our stay in #102! We will be back for sure!

Great Location and nice ocean front condo
The condo was perfect for our needs and the view from the patio was amazing! We were able to see whales jumping and windsurfers! The keyless entry made check-in and out nice and easy. The place was spotless and stocked with all of the essentials. There was a number of stores and restaurants in Kahana including a 5 minute walk to the Maui Brewing Co which has great food and a large selection of local beers. It’s about an hour walk from Kaanapali or a short $10-15 über ride. We were also able to snorkel and surf at the parks very close to the condo. Our only issue was that the condo was a bit pricey but you are definitely paying for location and ocean front. Would recommend staying :)
