Good but not great.

Hotel is in great location and service is excellent. Rooms are small. It’s an historic building that has been nicely restored. My first room was on a low floor and was plagued by external near property construction and 4AM garbage removal. They moved me to a higher floor and that was better. Recommend high floor and low number to get best sleep. Pool and outdoor space was closed for the season. Lobby area is smallish with lots of folks lap topping. Pictures on website make it look a lot bigger than it is. Great showers and beds.

Great hotel. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They surprised me for my birthday and had a bottle of Cava and a delicious dessert waiting for me in my room. This is my second time in Nashville and my second time at this hotel. Never disappoints!

The Getaway You Need

We had a great experience, all the way from the valets to the check-in staff, the bartender (John. DON’T start to tell him how to make a drink), the restaurant and cleaning staff. The rooms are modestly sized but well equipped. The whole hotel has an older feel, sort of 1930’s, 40’s vibe. We ran into so many friendly people other than the staff; we would walk into the bar, and a gentleman walked up to my wife and me (both of us in our Vancouver Canucks jerseys) and asked how the game was, who won, where we were from. Both food and drinks were great. As long as you understand you’re going to pay premium prices for room service, snacks, extra drinks, overnight parking, etc, because this is Downtown Big City Nashville, you should be fine. For us it was totally worth it for a 2-day getaway.

My husband and I took our adult daughter & her best friend for a weekend trip to celebrate her birthday. Location of the hotel was great! Our king room was a little tight, but good. Her room was perfect for them. Everything was clean and updated wonderfully. Staff was very nice & helpful!

Room smelled horribly of sewage & only got to take lule warm showers as there was no hot water. Both issues were brought to the attention of the front desk, they sent a maintenance man up who said “unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this” shrugged his shoulders & left! The only positives I can say about our stay was that it was very clean & good location. The rest of the experience was awful.
