I only stayed here one night but the hotel was great. I was in town for a conference held at Loews Hotel so I switched and was not too impressed with it. I most definitely would stay at the Hyatt House the next time I’m in Nashville.

Sadly our first impression set the tone for the rest. Upon entering there are gathered transients out front, we make our way through to the front desk where the staff was experiencing technical difficulties with even being able to log on to their system and had to restart 3 times while trying to explain the multiple ways in which to return a room key but you cannot simply leave it in the room and go about your day. It took a solid 30 minutes just to begin the check in process which we had already prebooked only to them find out there is a parking fee of $38, $41 with tax...so any money you thought you were saving by booking in advance has been lost to parking fees. There was not a space close enough to rationalize carrying in our luggage so you are just held captive to their fees. We were told we were getting a "really nice room" due to any inconvenience from check in only to find we were literally in the room we booked. The rooms are clean with the exception of the bathroom... someone could have spend a bit more time cleaning the shower stall and toilet. Bring your own towels and washcloths unless you enjoy drying off with the hardest, bleach riddled towels ever and while I am a fan of bleach...there has to be a better solution because these were so insanely abrasive. Otherwise, breakfast was decent but all around staff could take the attitude down a notch.

Very, Very Nice!

The room was wonderful! Roomy suite, nice seating area, full kitchenette, nice TV that swiveled between the bedroom and the seating area. Everybody's complaint is that parking is not free or included in the price or the room. Instead they charge a separate daily parking fee which can add up. The location is also very good and in a safe neighborhood,
