Not quite a classic boutique hotel
It has the drapes and the furniture of a great boutique hotel, but the service is not consistent enough to justify a top level rating. Service in the dining room for dinner was excellent, but at breakfast we found it difficult to get tea made in the pot served with milk and sugar. Winston Churchill is supposed to have stayed here, have there been no English people since then? We were never offered enough butter for the quantity of toast we bought, we always had to ask for more and it was always quickly supplied; but I don't think you should have to ask for such basic items in a hotel charging over £250 a night (breakfast not included). We had two basins and a bath with shower in our bathroom, but we were given only one piece of soap for the week we stayed there. The staff were always friendly and courteous, just like most of the people living in Nassau, but a bit more training would deliver great results.
