We found this place last minute for a fishing tournament. Everyone else was gone for the day and this place came through. Very convenient and comfortable. Perfect place to stay after a long day on the lake. Clean!

The cottage was beautiful. Everything was very clean and orderly. The view of the lake was gorgeous. I loved the fact that it came with pots and pans etc. I was very disappointed to find out that we would be required to provide our own sheets, blankets and towels, or pay $30.00 for them to provide them for the two days. I have honestly never heard of this in my life.

Great little place to a point.

Nice place to stay but we were there for a tournament so we were gone during the days. Management did go out of their way to make things better in some ways but if anything happens between 8p and 6a then you're on your own. They are our of reach and our hot water quit working. We couldn't take showers and couldn't get any answers. It would have been nice if they discounted one night.

Me and my wife are traveling around the country and I was very interested in the Toledo Bend area because I am an avid fisherman. The cabin at Tale Chasers gave a pretty good view of Toledo Bend. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area was very quiet. Something I was looking for. Unfortunately the area around Toledo Bend wasn’t quite what we were looking for. However, should my wife and I decide to go back to the Toledo Bend area, I will definitely make a reservation to stay at the Tale Chaser cabins again. I very much enjoyed the area.

Love this cabin

Our father had passed away and we came in with very short notice and at 4 am by the time we could check in. The cabin was open and ready for us and they pushed back check out to 1 pm for us. This is a beautiful place to see and the cabin was very nice. The people running Tale Chasers are so nice nice and helpful I dont know why anyone would stay anywhere else.

Quiet, comfortable, very nice

Communication was excellent, 12 cup coffee pot!, induction burner, deep sink with sprayer, were all nice touches. Things that would make it better: hair dryer, smaller pot, sugar, scrub daddy to clean dishes with and a light on wall behind beds for reading or back light. Plan on going back, one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. Loved it, even in a winter storm.

Though we were gonna be able to fish from our back door, but it was only a short trip to a private fishing spot. Kitchen was great and the heater worked quite well. A fun place to stay.
