The house is in a peaceful situation on the southern edge of NethyBridge , with lovely views over the surrounding hills and woods. Built in a traditional style and furnished and fitted in a tasteful contemporary manner the bright sunny rooms are comfortable and welcoming . It has an open plan living area with dining table , and kitchen , adjacent to the bright sunroom at the rear of the house which enjoys views of the mountains. There is also a twin , and double bedroom with ensuite shower room , and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor . The utility room and games room are also on the ground floor. On the first floor are large twin and double bedrooms , and a bathrooom with shower . There is a large garden and garden furniture is provided to sit out and enjoy the scenic surroundings. It is ideal for children and there are toys and books in the house . There are views of the Cairngorm mountains and to the rear of the house is the river Nethy and beyond the beautiful Abernethy forest. There are great cycle tracks and walks minutes from the house.
Nethybridge is a charming village in a beautiful setting within the Cairngorm National Park , 12 miles north of Aviemore. It has a grocers shop, and a well stocked butchers/delicatessen . There are 2 hotels and a cafe in the village .
BBCs Winterwatch and Springwatch were recently shot at the Dell of Abernethy , 10 minutes walk from the house. . They also host occasional events and have a drinks and pizza evening once a week in their Teepee most of the year . check out thedellofabernethy.co.uk
