The 'Cypress Room' at the Comal Inn is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of New Braunfels, Texas. Located across the street from the beautiful spring-fed Comal River and walking distance to the historic downtown Main Plaza and the world famous Schlitterbahn Water Park. Minutes away by car to Gruene, TX, home of Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas. Cypress Room has a king size bed and full size sofa sleeper, sleeps up to 4 guests. The room has pine floors, ceiling fan, small microwave and refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, hairdryer, and free Wifi. The private full bathroom has tile floors, tile jacuzzi tub/shower combination. The Cypress Room has a private entrance and a private porch with ceiling fan, comfortable chairs to sit and relax in and a small table with chairs to eat and have your morning coffee. Walkable but not in the middle of it all
This was exactly what we needed for a few nights to attend a wedding in Seguin. Just a few blocks to all the good stuff in NB but nice and quiet in the evenings. For the 2 of us it was about the same amount of space as being in a hotel room but with more character. Would certainly stay again if i ever need to go back to this part of Texas.

Quiet and Convenient
This was our first stay at The Comal Inn but we will definitely be back. The location is close to both the river and downtown restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere. The room is spacious and we enjoyed the private patio very much. Easy check in and friendly hosts.

Three words: Deep. Jacuzzi. Tub.
Actually, there is much more to like about this place in addition to the deep, jacuzzi tub. The room is well-organized and laid out for maximum comfort. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but my husband had no issues with it. The owners put care into prepping for breakfast items that include delicious fruit cups, orange juice, milk, cereal, yogurt and banana bread. The neighborhood is great, the location is great, and the owners are onsite. We definitely recommend the Comal Inn.

32nd Anniversary
We loved our stay in the Cypress Room. The owners, Brent & Julie were so nice and personable without being " in your face". The Comal Inn is quiet with beautiful flowers and trees. You will see several deer wandering around at anytime during the day even though you are in the city. Thank you again Brent & Julie.

I don’t want to let the secret out but this place is perfect !! Check in easy , big bed luxurious linens, left us milk cereal pastries oh fresh fruit and more !!!! You can’t find a better place in new braunsfuls !! I’m staying here everyone. We Uber To Gruene y’all so no drinking and driving. It’s 10 min away. Perfect beautiful b&b

This was such a great stay at the Comal Inn! The owners were some of the nicest people we’ve met! Everything was clean and in order, and the beds and pillows were so comfy!! Along with goodies from a local bakery, also fruit, yogurt, cereal and milk. Everything was great!! I would definitely recommend!

One of our favorite vacations
We loved the Comal Inn! When booking this last minute vacation we picked whatever we could find! We were pleasantly surprised on how clean and at home it felt! We loved the special touches of flowers, muffins, milk, fruit cups and cereal for the kids. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the short walk home after floating the river and from Schlitterbaun! The beds were super comfy and plenty of room for our family of 4! We would pick Comal Inn again even if we planned a year in advance. Thanks
