Lovely place
The place was very welcoming and the beds were comfortable. I slept with no issues. All needs we had were met. Mr. Eds and Susan's? Were close by restaurants and both were amazing food. And the location is perfect. It's a short walk to the cable car to cannel st. And straight to Bourbon Street.

Excellent!
Everything was perfect! My son and I just wanted a place that was close and convenient to the Riverwalk, museums etc and this place knocked it out of the park! Accommodations were great and the brochure provided all the info we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Great location
Location of propety is excellent for walking to anywhere in NO. The French quarter is only a 20 minute walk, Magazine street is less and River Walk and Aquarium are about 15 - 20 minutes. Parking is on street but restuarant patrons across the street sometimes takes up near unit parking: however I was able to find parking within 1 or 2 minute walk to the unit. Overall this is an excellent unit. Would stay there again if I come back to town.

40th Anniversary
Place was great . Love the deck out front . Location was a great spot for what we had planned . We were more in the Garden District . We loved it in the area so much it’s where we spent most of our vacation. We ate local , drank local , visiting places in the area if never have found if not for the location of the house . When we did venture into French Courters & Bourbon St it was a simple Urber ride or the trolley. 4th time in New Orleans & we’ve found a spot to return to a 5 th time !!!

Amazing apartment! Will come again
I was worried about the location but it couldn’t have been more perfect! Located close to a trolley stop (download the Le Pass app for all your transportation needs) and the apartment was absolutely immaculate, bedding was SO comfortable (the fold out couch bed was comfortable) laundry downstairs, a water purifier! You couldn’t ask for a more secure, safe, quaint, comfortable place to stay!

Great get away for a couple!
Property is great! Only 1 block from the St. Charles streetcar, making it easy to get to the Garden District or the French Quarter. The neighborhood is closer to the interstate than we normally like, and there is a homeless encampment under the overpass. At no time did this affect us while walking the neighborhood, we never encountered anyone or anything that made us feel unsafe. The cohost who lives on property took the time to introduce herself and was very friendly, making sure we didn’t need anything. The queen bed was very comfortable and we found linens and towels to be of good quality. If we have anything negative, we would have liked a television in the bedroom, but that is our personal preference, but not a deal breaker. Thank you for a quality rental we will definitely look for this property for our next visit.

Excellent location for exploring
The property was in an excellent location for a short walk to the main attractions of the city, close to ond of the sightseeing bus stops, and the St Charles streetcar. The property was much bigger than we expected, and although there is a very popular restaurant opposite, it was never too noisy. Parking was fine - always found something on the block. Very close to highway 90 and I-10 for getting out of the city.

Adorable Apartment ... Location, Location, Location
I can't say enough good things about this amazing listing! We booked this location several months in advance and a few days before our arrival, we learned there was going to be freezing temps so were dreading the trip. We were traveling there for my BFF's birthday and decided to brave the freezing temps. The apartment was so CHARMING! We thoroughly enjoyed it! It is listed as a two bedroom but the second bedroom is actually the living room with a sleeper sofa ... this made no difference to us. My adult son traveled with us and slept on the sleeper sofa so each evening after returning from our revelries, we spent quality time in his "bedroom" laughing the night away. It was sooooo cold outside so we ubered most everywhere but had the weather been warmer, we would have chosen to walk most of the time. There is a homeless camp just under the overpass next to the apartment that is kind of sketchy but, then again, you are in New Orleans which abounds with homelessness, unfortunately. We were asking each other on the way home "What was your favorite part?" All three of us voted this VRBO ... adorable apartment! One more thing, to get onto the balcony, you must open the window and step through ... sounds crazy but this was one of our fav features LOL!!!

Cleaning mishap
My VRBO experience, unfortunately, was not a good one. Upon arrival, the apartment was filthy. Garbage cans overflowing, dirty dishes in the sink, bedding on the floor. After travelling all day, we couldn't take a shower, because the bathroom was disgusting. I called VRBO's toll free # and was told the owner had 24 hours to fix the situation. I called the owner and was told that there was miscommunication with the cleaning service and that they would be there the next day. They did have a neighbor bring clean sheets, so we could at least get a decent night sleep and the owner did offer us a 50% refund.

Wonderful stay
Alligator Alley is as stated in the hosts description. Myself, and three others were very pleased with our accommodations and had a very enjoyable time. The backyard patio was our favorite area of the place. While the patio is small, the ambiance makes you forget where you are at, which makes it easy to decompress from a busy day of sightseeing.

Perfect Get Away
My husband really enjoyed our stay at Alligator Alley. Everything was just perfect and exactly as listed. The host was very responsive and even provided little extras to make the stay feel like home. The neighborhood seemed safe and although they were doing construction on the cross street it did not affect our stay at all. Everything was easily within walking distance which was nice because then we didn’t have to worry about paying to park anywhere. We will definitely stay again if we return to NOLA.

Birthday/Anniversary Trip
This is the perfect little apartment for a getaway! The photos are accurate and the place is even cuter in person than they show. Steven was very communicative and extremely helpful with check in/check out and everything in between. We literally walked everywhere in every direction and had zero problems feeling unsafe. As with anywhere else, use common sense when walking at night. The streets were well lit and the district is easy enough to navigate. You're a little over a mile to Bourbon Street if you walk straight down Carondelet which is nice because you are close enough to walk to everything you want to experience but far enough away to get some rest from the noise and crowds. There is a black binder in the kitchen on a small cabinet- be sure and check it out! Steven has meticulously listed bars, restaurants and to-do's in it with his personal thoughts on everything (his dad's opinions of those places made us laugh too)! We also added two of our favorite places from this week in the back of it. Honestly, this was the best stay. From booking, to actually getting there, exploring the neighborhood and the city, using all the facility available to us, to check out, we have ZERO complaints. We would definitely stay here again if another trip to NOLA gets planned. The National World War II Museum is a must. Oh, and go to the zoo! It's BEAUTIFUL!
