I stayed at Blake from Friday 9/13- Monday 9/16. I arrived a few hours before check in. Since I wanted to start enjoying the city I asked the front desk if they can hold my bag since I was really early. The gentleman said that he might be able to let me just check in. I got my room early. Which was great! The room appeared to not have been serviced thoroughly, though. The front desk quickly fixed all that. Keep in mind I was offered a room several hours before check in, so maybe the cleaning staff didn't get to the room yet. The room overall wasn't bad in appearance. The lobby area is beautiful with a cafe (with a bar) adjacent to the front desk. The food at the cafe was great! This was my third time in New Orleans. The hotel is a walkable distance to Bourbon. Not sure if the streetcars stop near the hotel, but they do pass in front of it. The immediate area around the hotel seems safe, but as you walk towards Bourbon you must be aware of your surroundings. Overall it was a good stay.

We stayed in 706 and it was as tucked away so no hallway noise or elevator noise etc….we also loved the fact that sunlight or eternal lighting did not get into the room….so it was dark….and the ac was awesome

I really enjoyed the stay. Registration went well, wonderful staff each time I came in or out I was greeted. We have stayed here before. Everything is within walking distance especially Mother's Restuarant, lol. I read some reviews that said the water did not get hot, but we did not have that problem, I think that was user error because the faucet has a safety feature a lever you have to move to get hot water. We really enjoyed our stay and if we go back to New Orleans we will stay here again. Thank you Blake Hotel

They were so rude and then they did not in communicate with me right I called them and asked them about why my car was charged more and they told me it was a resort fee. I said that was not on the app and they told me it was when I get there they tell me that I had $100 deposit, but I get it when I leave but when I call, they did not specify all that when I was talking to them and they was trying to tell me they did but they did not and then they kept telling me do you want me to refund your money like they did not want me to stay there and when I walked in there, it was so loud and unprofessional And very ghetto it was not quiet at all. It supposed to be nice. Nice hotel and I don't appreciate how it was coming at me. It was most of the manager. I think she was the last time she asked me she wanted me to refund my money because I did not want to stay there so I went somewhere else to stay and they gave me a better rates and a better Response they did. I would never stay there again. I would not recommend nobody to stay. There is not a place to stay.

Our stay was interesting, when we arrived in our room and there was no wash cloths available. Went down to the front desk to address the issue and we was told that unfortunately the hotel was out of wash cloths until further notice so we had to improvise with a big drying towel. It was amazing the next day we had wash cloths The cable COX nor the regular channels in the rooms was working . This hotel needs some TLC fast. Overall The location was nice and accessible to mostly everything

Excellent for dog moms!
It was great for the price and a great location. I brought my dog and it was less than 50 dollars to have her with me! There was also a park on the next block and made it so easy to take her out and the desk attendants were always friendly and helpful! Especially Donovan! The food was good at the cafe was good, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Open entering you may worry that the hotel is super hot climate wise, but I think it’s just saving power because the AC BLOWS in the rooms lol other than the outdated TV I have no complaints.

I had a lizard in my room ,,knats,towels with holes,white towels were gray and dingy,no hot water in shower,bed was exceptionally noisy,carpet was dirty, significant gap under door,no face towels in room,drapes were dirty, iron did not get hot enough to iron clothes, microwave would only go to 3 minutes DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVER!!!!

This property was absolutely disgusting. Upon arrival I discovered mold throughout the hallway, in my room and inside of the bathroom. There was also a leaking pipe in the shower and when I added what it was the maintenance man responded “it’s for the AC, and if you want it to stop you have to turn off the AC.” The conditions in this hotel were deplorable.
