Excellent base for NOLA visit
Stayed at this property for the 2nd time in a couple of years to attend a maritime conference at the Morial Convention Center. Clean, comfortable & well appointed, with onsite parking & easy access to most places of interest in NOLA. Sam is a great host & responds quickly to any queries you may have. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great Stay!
The property is very cute. The mural on the building is a nice touch and makes it feel inviting. You kind of think, "Uh oh", when you first turn onto the street, but as you travel down the blocks, you relax. It's in a great location for events at the Superdome. Easy access to the freeway if you have a car, and quite Uber-able if you don't. There's also a bus stop right across the street. The unit is super cute and has everything you need. It is small; perfect for one, but not meant for more than two people. The area is quiet despite being on a main street. The only thing that would make it perfect is if checkout weren't so doggone early! Anywho, I felt safe and really enjoyed staying there!

Very Convenient and perfect!
These reviews are all mostly accurate! The drive there depending on which way your GPS takes you will throw you off but once you arrive this place is perfect! We never felt unsafe! The bed was comfortable, the living room and kitchen were cozy! It was very clean! We left our car there most of the weekend and used the trolley (4 minute walk) to get to the French quarter and back, we didn't have to worry about driving at all! We walked from there to the garden district, the scenery and houses were gorgeous! We have zero complaints and when we return I hope this place is available again!!!

Great spot for public transit use
The unit is cute, clean, and has all the basics. It is located next to a bus stop and four blocks from the streetcar making it easy to get around and not have to use a ride service all the time. Definitely check out Cafe Porche and Snowbar for the french toast and southern hospitality.

The property is exactly as shown in the pictures. A great little apartment just blocks from the Mardi Gras parade route! Meticulously clean apartment and comfortable bed. Short on any place to store your clothes, however.

This cozy little apartment was PERFECT for me on my solo vacation. It had all the amenities I needed. I was a little nervous because it was on the edge of an upper scale district & a rough district, but I felt quite safe in the daylight, & reasonably safe after dark. If I was out past 10 or 11, I took a cab back to avoid the 4 block walk alone from the Streetcar that late, but there is a well lit bus stop on the corner across the street, too. There is a coffeeshop a block down, & Chester's grocery mart, bars, restaurants & trolley stop just 4 blocks up on St. Charles Street (near the Trolley). Seriously, use the trolley/bus ($1.25 or $3/day). Don't drive & pay for parking. The apartment was clean, but did have the typical closed up musty smell of an older bldg in a humid environment. This didn't surprise me. I just clipped a car airfreshener on the fan of the heating/cooling unit & I didn't notice it any more. The couch is uncomfortable & should be replaced. I didn't let that bother me. I didn't sit there much anyway. The bed & pillows were real comfy & I slept well. The quality of the bed did matter to me. I think the owner's descriptions & pictures were quite accurate. This is a cute little apt & I would recommend it. The location worked well for me, & I plan to go back & stay there again.

top of the line for location!
came for the renaissance tour and i couldn’t have stayed in a better property! location was an easy walk to the superdome but also easy to french quarters, st charles and magazine street. garden district is a beautiful neighborhood and the street the apartment is located on has some gorgeous museums, shops and restaurants. sam was also a wonderful and gracious host. i definitely look forward to coming back for my next concert/vacation.

Perfect for our NOLA part of road trip
The property was exactly as pictured. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The neighborhood is on the border of a great and slightly shady neighborhood, but that’s just how most of NOLA is (coming from someone who used to live there) We would definitely stay here again though.

Efficient and Convenient
This little apartment is so nicely redone and was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen for such a small space was excellent and new. The location is about right on the line between a really nice neighborhood and a not so nice neighborhood, but the security provided is excellent and if you are walking to the streetcar, you are going to be in the nice part of the area. I never felt unsafe going that way.

Simple but worked perfectly
We used this property as our base during closing weekend of Jazz Fest. This is a simple property, but we didn’t need any extra amenities for it to be ideal for our stay. Close enough to St. Charles St so we could use the trolley to get around. Also close enough for us to find a tasty breakfast joint. We found this property the perfect no frills accommodations for us.

Perfect location!
The photos with this property are spot on, very clean and just a few blocks away from the trolley station that takes you where all the action is. So glad to leave the car parked and not have to deal with the traffic in the French Quarter. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect location
We went to see the Mardi Gras Parades. This location was just a short walk from the parade route! The area felt safe to walk during the day and the night. Just 2 miles from the French Quarter which was our other reason for coming. Such a fun trip
